Bloomsbury Education Write Like a Ninja: An essential toolkit for every young writer

This book is fantastic. I'm an experienced teacher and I am so excited to add this resource to my classroom, supporting KS2 children with their writing. It is so user friendly and will be easily accessed and navigated by the children in my class. It is much clearer and simpler to use than other books that can be used to help descriptive writing, and for a fraction of the price! The way the information is presented in categories is really useful, and there is not so much information that the pages risk being overwhelming. I would absolutely recommend this book to support descriptive writing in the classroom. Thank you Andrew Jennings!

This book is like a working wall in a hand held version. It would be very useful to have one copy on each table in the classroom (when we return to grouped tables) although even better would be one each! I particularly like the coordinating and subordinating conjunction pages and have bookmarked these! Thank you - I would recommend these in all KS2 classes.

This is a fantastic book. I can see this inspiring able writers to improve and also reluctant writers to have a go. The pages are full of relevant and useful information but the format is brilliantly done so that it doesn't overwhelm, panic or scare the user. It's a great size to have out on a working desk without being to cumbersome. Would be useful for parents to keep them in touch with what is being asked if their children too.

This is such a brilliant book. I've used it in a Y3/4 class as an alternative to getting lost in a thesaurus and finding irrelevant words to use! I love the way it's organised and the vocabulary choices available are great.Vocabulary Ninja does it again - gives you something you didn't know you needed and then once you've got it you wonder how you lived without it!

As a mum and a teacher this is the perfect purchase. Everything a child or parent or teacher woukd need to construct interesting writing. I love this as an adult and my child loves it too. Excellent purchase.
