What a difference this has made, the retractable cable is a fantastic improvement. Plenty of sockets and USB ports. Sleek and stylish. Couldn't be more pleased.

Bought with birthday vouchers with intent to tidy up the eyesore that the area beside my bed had become. The space saving of using its USB ports instead of endless adaptors saves loads of room worthy of a standing ovation (had I not been lying on my bed!) & it’s multiple available 3 pin sockets which before on my strip extension were taken up with those adaptors are now on this freed up. Now I can plug in whatever else I might want and it’s all tidy.Three things: Firstly, the addition of other port types would have made this spectacular (such as the C & micro usb) as would the addition of a wireless area on top though I realise such may have significantly impacted its price point. Lastly, a tip, because the retraction and extraction of the cable length is done by rotating the base, have that set up to the desired length before plugging everything in otherwise you’ve just converted your tower into a spinning wheel for making electrical flex yarn. The way around this if you need to plug in before positioning it is to hold it up and turn the base only to wind in or pull out the cable. Ta-dah!I will want at least 3 or 4 more of these in my life! Bring on the birthdays!

It’s a good power adapter, it does the job nicely, although I’ve had some small issues with it. The USB ports on it seem to be unresponsive to certain devices, and only certain ones want to work sometimes. The lower 2 are the best due to them being a better USB port, and the others seem to be a little off. The plug sockets are fine, I’ve connected multiple chargers, a monitor and a PC. So it works like a charm, just the USB ports

The tower design saves so much space saver around my desk with a lot of usable power points.

It’s compact and doesn’t take up much room, and will provide me with spare sockets for Christmas lights etc. If I’d really thought, though, I would have chosen one which also has a phone charging facility on the top. It isn’t much of a hardship using the separate one you see in the photo, except that it can slide off. Will get one or two more to help sort out all the ‘spaghetti’ behind the television.

I wouldn't have purchased this if I had known that everything you plug into it has to be on all the time you can't switch individual sockets off
