SwatchUNAVOIDABLE Unisex Watch (Model: SY23S408), black

This is the first Swatch I've had since I was in middle school in the 80's and I'm just tickled with it. I was all set to buy a -much- more expensive watch, but then I saw this one and at the price, I had to try it.This watch is a true self winding mechanical watch. It's beautifully styled, high quality, affordable, and very cool - everything a Swatch should be. When I bought it, I wasn't expecting a "cool" factor, but it is in fact a typical Swatch in every way.

Swatch makes some very great higher end watches and this one is no exception, the leather band is great , the light gold of the face is perfectly toned , its sophisticated and yet casual as well, it has a nice PATEK vibe and you can’t go wrong. It is and automatic so remember you will have to wind it if you don’t wear it often . Another great Swatch in my Collecton

Nice swatch well made a bit meatier than a normal plastic swatch. Feels of refined quality like it won't fall apart.

I purchased a Swatch automatic watch a few weeks ago, model SY23S408, and wore it regularly. Unfortunately, one day I discovered a significant crack in the glass case back. When I visited the store for an exchange, I was shocked to be told that they wouldn’t replace it because this looks like damage, and as the watch was sold without defects.When I purchased the watch, I was assured that the back case is strong and durable and that the watch was designed to be robust overall. Therefore, I understood that it would be difficult to break it, especially since the crack occurred on the back side of the case, which is even harder to damage it.I paid $240 for just a few weeks of use. I handled the watch carefully and did not cause the damage. The crack is located on the back of the watch, making it unlikely to occur from regular wear.Now, the cracked glass poses a safety risk, preventing me from enjoying my purchase. The store refused to repair or replace the glass or watches, and an independent repair service confirmed that it couldn’t be fixed, even at my expense.Since I know that did not cause the damage, I asked store to examine the watch to find the cause of crack, but representative refused to do that too. I just want to enjoy a good quality watch. I bought watch as a set and expect all the pieces to be durable and good quality.
