Welding magnets just don't get them hot
With the small magnets you have to weld close to them which renders the magnets useless. They should I put a warning in the first paragraph not too much heat will destroy the magnetism rendering them useless.

Good for light duty, keep away from heat.
I ruined one of these the very first time I used it.I was TIG welding 2" x 2" x 2" boxes together and I forgot that magnets really don't like heat. Well a couple of tacks later and the magnets on one of them are too weak to hold anything now. However, I'm a problem solver so I can pop those little magnets out and replace them no problem.I would have liked to see the pivot be a screw or some other adjustable device. Some of the holders I received had stiff pivot points and others were very loose. When trying to use them to hold up a bracket I had to swap them out until I found the stiffest one to hold it in place.

Every metal fabricator needs these!
Awesome little magnets that hold parts at angles your normal 45/90 degree magnets can’t. I wish the pivot pins were a little stiffer though so they resisted movement/rotation a little more.

Great for small light weight projects only
Too expensive for the price and quality. I was expecting a more robust tool. This isn’t it. It is more of s toy than tool. These are nice, but they are for light duty materials. I found the magnets were insufficient to hold pieces heavier than a couple of pounds.

V pads
These V pads are great for setup however they didn’t standup to the heat of a tack weld. As soon as I tack welded the corners the V block lost it’s magnetism and dropped the pice on to the welding table.

Strong Hands?
Looking at the use illustrations these seem great. WARNING these are described as "light duty". They are not kidding. This are probably for someone TIG welding small light weight pieces together. Apparently they are loved for this use. Was just after 30 days when i needed a holder and realized they are going to be too weak. It is not like you can take them back to the store. I wound up ordering a couple of bigger MTF15s. Used to order the "odd ball " tools from a catalog. Now disappointment is just a click away. These are still on their card

Just like the thing that was similar
It got a one star ding I value for $$$. Only because it's worth what I paid which means I got what I paid for. If it was a buck or do cheaper, it would a got itself five stars because it would have been worth more than I paid they work great, if you don't know, by the way, if you weld on top of it , you ei kill the magnet. I'm not much but a little smarter than it is so I don't do that. It works great to hold funky things in funky positions ( not like Candy from the club, just little metal stuffs)until you get em tacked together. It is every bit ad strong as I thought it would be, it will not hold a steel reinforced door, a truck hood, a radio tower, or a automobile header in position, but if your trying to instead use it like it was intended, you can hold stuff a pound or so still, maybe more if you too are a wee bit more smarter than it is

Pretty cool and useful, but...
I was pretty happy to get these and I successfully setup different configurations, but sometimes my stacking would fall apart and I wasn't sure why. I finally figured out that on one of the little clamps, the magnet wasn't a magnet, or if it was at one time, it's completely de-energized, for lack of a better term. So, one out of 4 clamps is faulty.EDIT: It turns out this is my fault. I didn't know that if you got the clamp hot, the magnet would lose its magnetic ability. Don't forget to remove the clamps after you're done tacking our parts. Lesson learned!

Handy little magnetic clamps
Purchased as a present for someone else, but will probably get some for myself as they are way better than some I got on eBay. Magnets are strong and they sit well on flat steel. I have some c clamps by Strong Hand and and they make good quality tools.

Handy unique tools!
Great little tools! Really handyThe hindge are set to just the right tightness that they are easy to move yet hold work firm. One of magnets fell out but others are solid and it glued back in after little bit of fiddling. Would have been 5 stars if not

Handy
Handy, but not quite strong enough magnets.
