Product arrived on time and in great condition. Mounted on my boat, works as advertised, very pleased, would recommend.

Excellent construction and easily read. Highly susceptible to nearby metal or EM fields. Needs a moment to adjust after sudden changes in heading or being jostled about.

This is a good old reliable compass. Used it on boats for many years, you can't go wrong by choosing this compass.

Bought this for my sailboat. Perfect for my needs.

So good. I have yet to calibrate it but out of the box it is extremely close to proper orientation.I'm disappointed the night light is 12V, hard wired only. I'm not about to drill a bunch of new holes in the bulkhead to tap into the on board 12V system.According to Ritchie, the internal light can be replaced and I'm thinking of a 9V battery, light, and switch. The problem being, the magnetic field of a small, standard 9V battery in a tin body would influence the magnetic field. I'll simply take a 9V battery (and matching LED) and see how close/far I can be - before the rose moves 1+ degree. I'm thinking maybe 12" clearacne is all I'll need.

Excellent dash mounted compass for my boat.

This is a great looking compass, Easy to read, seems to work fine i have not had the boat out since installing it but am sure it will worke. One thing I wish a cover for it was included.
