Handy post op kit
I bought this in anticipation of hip surgery. In the old days used to get these items preop from physical therapy preop. Oh, well. Decided I needed to help myself. Not overly priced for number of items. There a dressing with a hook on one end and handy shoe horn on the other end. This is made of a sturdy plastic. The sock helper is helpful when not able to bend down to put on sock. The fluffy washer on a wooden stick has come in handy, easy take a shower post op without compromising hip surgery. There is a "leg mover" which I didn't need but is helpful to get in and out of car, bed etc. It is sturdy. My favorite item is the grabber, quite an improvement over ones of years gone by. Very sturdy with the business end able to pick up just about anything precisely. This is vital to use to avoid hip dislocation. And everything seems to fall to the floor when you can't bend over to pick it up. So grateful I have this. I suspect I will use this way into the future for other purposes such as spring cleanup outside or getting things from upper cabinets. All most forgot to mention this comes with a nice nylon bag to store everything until needed again. I would reccomend this kit for post op surgery.

Hip kit
This seems to be a great kit for therapy. My husband just had major back surgery and in rehab and these tools are helping him get back to doing what he could do before like putting on his shoes and socks, reaching for things, and the sponge for the shower will make it much easier to reach his back and legs.

It’s a must have for surgery
It’s helped me prepare for my hip replacement surgery. Because after surgery, you can only be 90° and you have to have stuff to help you function.

hip kit improved quality of life.
everything is helpful, the grabber broke attempting to remove socks from my feet. the item is not built strong enough to handle more pressure.

Helpful and versatile
Great kit! We found it to be very helpful and also entertaining with the different backscratcher attachments. Parts of the kit will be helpful even after recovery, especially the grabber.

Just what the doctor ordered!!
This bag of tools helps me be more self-sufficient. I can put on and take off my shoes and socks at will, put on blouses and jackets, lift my leg and guide it into a car or truck, and scrub my back. I can pick up things from the floor as well as lightweight items from cabinets and shelves. Those are all easy tasks for most of us, but when worn-down, arthritic knees, hips, and shoulders are added to the equation, those simple tasks become major obstacles. Another bonus is that I will probably not have to go to rehab after my next knee surgery. Going straight home is a psychological win; it means I can take care of most of my ADLs without much help. All of these blessings are just a quick order on Amazon, at a modest cost and 2-day delivery. That spells win, win, win!!

very useful
After having hip surgery I needed some assisted devices to help me be more independent. This kit helped a lot. It comes with a reacher grabber, long handled bath loofa, sock aid, leg lifter strap, long handled shoe horn which has an assistive dressing hook attached and a carrying bag to put everything in. The reacher grabber has a feature to rotate the head if needed. It is easy to use and works well with most of my needs. The folding feature makes it easier to fit in my walker bag but it doesn't have a lock feature so it has a tendency to fold on itself at certain angles when lifting up heavier objects. Over all it's a good kit and has made it a lot easier for me to be independent but 3 weeks later the leg lift broke in half making it useless.

Helps with immobility & worth it
I had a Full Right Hip Replacement on September 9 and everything that I have used thus far has really helped me. I would definitely recommend & it’s worth every penny.

If you're looking at this, chances are either you need it or a relative needs it. For me, it's been an absolute heaven sent. I've recently had hip surgery and every single one of these aids has been a must have item during my recovery. The sock aid is remarkable. Sturdy material / plastic, durable and does what its supposed to. The grabber especially useful when under hip precautions of not bending past 90 degrees. The foot grabber/ holder has been essential for me as post op, I have been getting in and out of the bath. I have been doing this using a bath chair which sits half in and half out of the bath. When sliding across, the good leg obviously lifts and goes in to the bath after this the foot grabber is brilliant for grabbing the other leg and lifting it it in and out of the bath. The leg grabber is also great post a hip operation when getting in and out of bed. The bathing tool is great to reach areas without excessive bending which lastly leaves the shoe horn / clothes aid. Definately helps to hook on to items of clothing like jogging bottoms or pants and be able to pull them up to a point again where you do not then need to breach any hip precautions that in my case, i am under

This kit really is worth its waiting Gold 2 weeks post opp and I use them daily most important 1 leg lifter for getting in and out of bed 2 grabber for helping me with dressing and pickicking things up of the floor 3 sock aid the one I've used the least is the shoe horn as my trainers are those slip on ones so do not need assistance although I have just used it to take of my socks so yes I give this product 5 stars
