Kinda smelly.
Super durable and effective waterproof cover. And I love that the pebble pattern makes it safer. It did have a pretty funky smell and required a few washes and to be aired out.

Does it's job
My son has had a few nights lately where his poor tummy just wasnt right. I bought this in hopes I could protect the mattress in his crib from being stained with a stinky mess. I have no complaints, it did exactly what it is promises to do, and it's very breatheable and easy to clean. My only suggestion would be to hang dry instead of putting in the dryer.
