I cannot recommend this system. I bought it because of the good reviews, however that has not been my experience.1. The wireless transmitter is VERY limited and drops off frequently. I have one camera about 20' away going through only 1 wall, and it drops out frequently. Another camera was placed 50' away going through 3 walls, and I could not get a signal at all. That means I just can't get a camera at the 4 corners of my small home.2. The instructions and "manual" are deplorable. You get one tiny manual about 3" square and have to use a magnifying glass to read it. The instructions do not lead you through set up, and do not say anything about using the software such as the phone app or the NVR operation.3. The NVR operation is VERY user unfriendly and there are no instructions on how to use it. The little instruction there is on screen is in very bad English obviously written by someone who does not speak English. Also the NVR is noisy. Far more noisy than any other hard-drive device I have had.4.The "GooLink" phone app is only good for viewing live camera views. There is no way to see recordings on the NVR. I assumed this would be a feature since so many others have this. Again, this app is very user unfriendly.5. The cameras have a short power cord and there is no extension available. This means that you have to run a 120 volt extension cord from the nearest receptacle to the adapter. This is a very unsightly and vulnerable set up. Being that the adapter is not weather proof you have to somehow shield the adapter and the extension cord from the weather.

This device is at best a 4/10 on a customer satisfaction scale. The cameras themselves are the best part of this deal, at 720p they have a decent picture and you can recognize faces with them. The dvr however, is next to worthless. I am currently trying to find a way to get the cameras to connect to my computer software dvr so I can just scrap the dvr for parts.Bad things about the DVR:1. User interface is terrible and confusing, it took me 3 days to figure out how to name the separate areas for my cameras.2. For some reason when you connect to the DVR using the app it stops all recordings after that, meaning if you use the app to check on your house the device will not record anything when you exit the app.3. The hard drive they used sounds like a bad 1960's impression of a robot.4. English was definitely not the first language of the people who made this.Good things about the DVR:1. It has HDMI connection, that's all.This whole set is only saved because I like the cameras. Now if only I could figure out how to connect them to a different DVR....Update as of 11/23/2016One of the cameras has died, it gets power and I can tell that it is on, but will no longer connect to the DVR through WiFi nor will it connect through wire. Unfortunately my customer support window closed last month. and now I am sitting on only 3 working cameras after only having this product for 2 months. I would not recommend.

The picture quality, camera quality and range seem decent and the app seems like it would be nice. BUT after 3 days of trying to get it to connect to my phone without any customer support options I believe I will be returning this regrettably because it is exactly what I needed. I consider myself somewhat computer literate and have tried multiple things in the settings. The instruction manual writer should be fired as it is terribly put together in a print too small with minimal instructions.

All works grate! simple install. Good image. Infrared image looks great. Only thing that was hard was setting up the email alerts.

Awful product. Worked for about a week. Cameras go out all the time. Had an IT guy try to fix. Returning this product.

I just bought these like less then a month ago and I've had nothing but problem.. one of the camera won't sync, can't get the setting to stay how I want it, it just keeps going back to default..

only problem is, there isn't any contact number for tech support or a legit website. I'm needing help to set the recording hours and there isn't any way to figure it out.
