HumanCentric VESA Mount Adapter Compatible with Asus VX-Series Monitors

I have a couple of ASUS VX24AH 23.8" WQHD 2560x1440 IPS HDMI VGA Eye Care Monitors and this adapter gets the job done well. It is sturdy and easy to install. Like other reviewers mention, it does take up some space (i.e., the monitor ends up closer to your face), and sits a bit higher up than a regular mount - but if your monitor arms are adjustable, this shouldn't be too much of an issue. It isn't for me. Recommend, though it's a bit pricey.

They work as intended. Can be a little annoying to put on and keep flat. They seem sturdy though and I have not any problems with them, although they are pretty ugly when using with my white monitors. I wish they had other colors, but I might spray paint them if I get a chance. I have the [VX238H-W] and these are very visible beneath the monitor, so you might want them to match you monitor color. They are also pretty expensive for just a piece of metal.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do. A lot of the reviews are mad it doesn't line up with the rest of their monitors or sits forward, which yeah, its a non-VESA monitor. I was worried at first it wouldn't hold up with my mount holding all the weight forward but it does a great job. This product does exactly what it says it will do: Take an Asus monitor and allow you to put it on a VESA mount. boom. end of story. it does that great. Don't give it a negative review because it hold the monitor differently. Thats a little ridiculous. I actually am buying a second Asus monitor and will be getting another one of these.

Since some other reviews have commented on missing/bad hardware (bolts in particular), I'll start off by stating the VESA adapters I received had correct hardware right out of the box. I have not had to interact with customer service, so I can't comment on that aspect of the buying experience. With those disclaimers out of the way, on to my tale... I kicked myself for years for buying monitors without a built-in VESA mount. After researching VESA mount adapters, I identified these and then spent months, arms crossed, not wanting to spend $64 plus tax for two of these bad boys on top of buying a dual-monitor mount. But finally my heart warmed and I decided that it was time to love my Asus VX-248H monitors as they were. It wasn't their fault I didn't do monitor research properly, and they deserved the chance to ascend and float like their VESA-enabled brethren. So I bought two VESA adapters from Human Centric and a simple dual monitor clamp mount. I decided on one without hydraulics due to weight and cost concerns, but that could rotate monitors (B0052AWGLE). I would also have been happy with the version that didn't rotate monitors (B01HSJN0HK), because I rarely need vertical orientation. That said, these VESA mounts are sturdy enough that if I needed to make one monitor vertical for a short time, I would feel comfortable doing so with a little bracing underneath. I'm not a scientist, but I don't think the leg of the monitor was designed to support a vertical orientation. The cons for me are cost (I bought them for $32 each, where I would have liked to have paid ~$20-$25) and the point of connection (why use the monitor "leg?"). If you are on the fence because you think you shouldn't have to pay again for something that should be standard, just admit you made a mistake buying non-VESA monitors, commit to doing better research next time, and buy the adapters. You'll thank yourself later.

I found this after looking to see if there was any way to mount my Asus VZ249H Monitors. They aren't VESA mountable, but these weer designed to mount them. To mount them, you unscrew the base of the monitor and screw the adapter in the arm that normally goes to the base. You then mount the adapter to a VESA mount. Here are the pros of this item: - it allows you to mount the monitor - It is semi-sturdy Here are the cons: - the included hardware is not nearly long enough to feel safe with putting monitors on it. - It extends an extra 6-8 inches from where the VESA mount already is. - Makes it really difficult to mount multiple monitors and have a smooth level setup - Makes the setup look really jerry-rigged - The edges of the adapters are sharp and can cut you Seriously, forget about buying these and if you REALLY want to mount the monitors, invest in different ones. Dont waste your money on these.

Since this is the only adapter I found, I made it work. But it isn't made correctly. The adapter doesn't fit on the vertical part of the ASUS monitor stand correctly. There's a box-like shape on the adapter that's supposed to fit over another box-like shape on the monitor stand but the one on the adapter acts like it's too small. The screw supplied will work if two washers are used and if the screw is tightened securely. The next shorter screw will not engage enough threads in the monitor stand and will strip what threads it does engage.

Is it perfect... No, but I purchased a monitor that doesn't have VESA mount. I didn’t realize this was a deal breaker until I moved to a multi purpose desk and needed to maximize available desk space. What this mount does fantastically is add a VESA mount for significantly less than a new monitor. mounting to having that mounting option is absolutely fantastic. There were two issues I ran into. To avoid the first issue of of the external hardware backing out I would purchase your own bolts or use some light duty thread lock. The second issue you might run into is the monitor might become wobbly over the years. This is due to the monitor not being built for constant adjustments and movements that the adjustable arm afforded me. The good news is that this may be repairable. In my case I used google to find some how two guides and found two loose screws internal to the monitor.

Since there are only few choices for a VESA mount on this type of Asus monitor, this one works pretty work. The design choice for when the adapter and base connect could have been better, but since this works for a variety, it'll do. Now, the screws that came with this mount were a disappointment. Be prepared that if you order this, you might as well compared the screws and buy better, longer ones. The screw that frustrated me the most was the main screw for the base. It was so short that it barely reached the base. I had to go out and buy a longer one with a lock washer just to properly hold the monitor. Now, I'm not sure if this was a defect or poor design, but using one screw to hold the base was not good enough. Over time, which was very short, the screw would get loose and the monitor would start to wobble because the screw untightened. I was seriously considering adding a drop of super glue just to hold it.

In totale il monitor sporge circa 10 cm rispetto alla piastra VESA. Finiture un pò spartane ma svolge egregiamente il compito, sono soddisfatto.

Es lo que es, un soporte para un monitor VX238H que no tiene soporte. Pedirle más es imposible. Hace su función perfectamente, nunca quedará como un monitor que tenga su propio soporte VESA pero eso es obvio. El soporte provoca que el monitor quede algo más arriba y cercano el usuario que si usamos un monitor con soporte VESA incluido.

年末に注文したら、海外発送なので年始に届く予定だったはずが、1週間ほど早く届きました。 海外発送なのでそれなりに覚悟はしてましたが、もはや外装の箱が、箱としての体裁を成していないレベルでズタボロでAmazonの配送用紙袋に入って届きました。中身はただの金具で使用上の問題は全く無いので私は気にしませんが、海外発送品の経験が無い人はショックを受けるかもしれません。 リストに無いVX278Hにも使えたのはうれしい誤算です。 現時点で使用上の目立つ問題はありませんが、取り付け中に気づいたことがいくつかありました ・どうしても裏側の見た目はアンバランスになる ・モニターアームの先端とモニターの重心位置が通常と比べて大きく離れることになるので、たぶん、テコの原理的にモニターアームへの負荷が高い気がする ・この製品とモニターの接続部分がねじ一本で止めているだけなので、少しだけ左右に回転してしまう(リストに無いVX278Hに取り付けているのが原因かもしれません。) モニターの買い替えを避け、安く済ませるための妥協案として購入し、期待していた機能は十分満たしてくれているのでとりあえず星5です。 長期的に使用して気づいた点があれば追記します。

Acheté pour un VX238H. Aucun problème, très vite monté et installé en diw minutes. Une fois bien serré ne bouge pas d'un poil et paraît bien solide (pour le moment)! L'un des seuls adaptateurs Asus sur le marché hors les pinces qui n'assurent pas un bon maintien la plupart du temps, donc je suis très satisfaite.

I ordered this to try it with an Asus VX229H (not listed on the description page at the time but the listing noted that company would accept return if not fitting). Happily it fits the monitor foot connector very well and has allowed me to fix monitor to Vesa desk stand and reclaim desk space, and, (more importantly for this monitor since the original stand is not adjustable) allow me to adjust the position to a more reasonable ergonomic working height. Brilliant! From the aesthetic point of view, if you worry about such things, it should be noted that the stand does peep out from under the monitor (i.e. not completely hidden behind monitor), but this is just a limitation of the monitor's original design rather than this solution.
