Just remove the rusty flakes and paint straight on. Gives a good durable finish and a small pot covers a large area. Easy to apply and good quality too. The colour was just perfect for the inside of a microwave oven and you cannot tell its been treated. Dries quicl=kly and you are ready to go!

...ja es ist irre zu sehen , wie die Regentropfen sich sammeln und ab gewisser Größe auf dem Geländer abperlen .Bis jetzt bin ich hellauf begeistert und warte nun den Winter ab , der bei uns recht hart ist und Schneehöhen bis 1-11/2 Meter keine Seltenheit . Schade , dass die Farbe nur in England auf den Markt kommt ,denke mal gerade dieser Ton (Creme ) würde bestimmt auch bei uns in D reißenden Absatz finden . Ich habe mal im Baumarkt nachgefragt , ob man die hier erhältliche weiße Farbe etwas tönen kann -nicht möglich . 250ml für fast 30 Euro ist schon der Hammer , wenn man mal auf englische Seiten geht und die dortigen Preise sieht -aber der Deutsche ist ja bekannt , dass man ihn an allen Ecken und Enden schröpfen kann.

This is a good price for a good product. The floor on my microwave oven had a few paint flakes under the rotating plate which had started to rust, & a few other blisters forming on the floor. When this happened on a previous microwave, the rust ate through leaving a hole which then caused sparks inside the oven, enlarging the hole & making the oven unsafe. I removed the plate & used a fine sandpaper to remove surface rust & break the blisters, sanding back to a level finish, then applied two coats of this directly, allowing drying time as directed. Its worked well for several months so far with no further rust or blisters.
