Swash® Smells Like Vacation HE Ultra-Concentrated Liquid Laundry Detergent

I loveeee this stuff! Does it work/ clean w just one self dispensing squeeze?...YES. Does it smell "like "vacation"?...again YES! I will admit after trying it out, I do buy my normal pod detergent, and I add 3 squeezes....yes you dont need the pods, yea you can just do 1 squeeze, but I'm stuck in my ways of over powering smelly scents....and I love it...the scent makes you think sunblock, beach, clean towels vibe...anything reminding me of sun and warm weather is a win, and this product does what it says,, which is rare....lasts a while for me as well, even w me extra squeezes....totally worth it, u won't regret it xo

Swash is a very good concentrated laundry detergent and I really like the Simply Sunrise scent; I like it so much that I've reordered it several times. Sometimes the auto-measure dispenser doesn't work proper a little into using the bottle and I have to remove the cap and guestimate to dispense. I usually do larger loads and it requires several squirts for that, but it works great, smells great and leaves the clothes having a nice texture. I have not used it to clean major stains so I can't give any info about that.

I got this because my son wears his clothes for a long time and they pick up an odor. This does seem to take away the bad odor and leave a fairly fresh scent. However, the "self-measuring" cap does NOT work as planned. One squeeze can be 2 to 6 oz. Never the 1-2 teaspoons that would make this last for 40-80 loads.

Its a fine detergent, it does the job. I do hope this bottle and concentrate concept take off. It would save a lot of space in trucks, on the shelves, and weight to haul from the grocery store. The low rating is because the scent smells nothing like you would expect "vacation" to smell. It smells like a standard blue detergent scent. I was hoping for something tropical or maybe even more sunscreen scented but no luck.

We just got a new front load machine. Was used to using pods but they don't always dissolve entirely and liquids getting funky and gunky in the dispenser drawer can be problematic - I wanted to give this a shot to solve both. It arrived intact with no leaks or damage, which is always a relief. Really love the small size. One could stash anywhere or take to the laundromat easily on a pinch. Scent is really not "citrus" in my opinion, but light and fresh upon dispensing, more on this later. The lid worked fine and the tiny amount rinsed fully into the wash without leaving a trace in the drawer. I will update if this changes in any manner - with any solution I identify. Hand Measuring - For those with a "broken", defective or otherwise non-working lid - dividing the 30oz by 83 = 0.361445783 oz. per squirt/load - since 1Tablespoon = 0.5 oz. With 2 teaspoons = 0.333334 oz.- add just a tad over that per load :-) The load was scented (still not citrus imo) following wash and clothes were clean despite a couple old stains that I did pretreat with dabs from my dispensed detergent. VERY happy about that. After drying, the scent remains. I will add that some scents bother me, this one included. I am not allergic but something in this, Oxi Max Force gel as well as other detergents & hand soaps take my breath away. I avoid the laundry aisle due to this issue. Not a strong scent but a quality I prefer to avoid and would not want on sheets or other things particularly near my face. Perhaps an extra rinse would remedy this ?? Overall, I like this product. May try unscented in the future for obvious reasons. I have used Amazon Basics Fresh Scent pods for quite a while with great results and no problem with scent at all but they do not always dissolve completely - so also trying that brand of liquid now with high hopes.

I purchased this for my son’s birthday. I noticed his bulky laundry detergent container at his house. I use this brand and it’s so much better than regular laundry detergents. No bulky containers to store and a bottle lasts a long time and good for your washer.

Tried Swash in my new top Loading Westinghouse washer and was really impressed Easy to store in a much smaller place Clothes smell clean but without a strong fragrance Removed all the stains Works with all temperatures I always used powder before and felt that cold water washes did not dissolve the powder at times. With Swash clothes are clean and feel fresh. My whites were clean and bright. I did have trouble with the cap on one bottle but just replaced it with the cap from the bottle I had just finished Very happy with the product and convince. I have trouble with my arm and this lighter bottle is much easier. Plus it is not messy like using powder detergents that spilled all over no matter how careful you tried to be Love it

I have purchased 3 bottles of this detergent. The first one sold me. The cap dispenses exactly what you need and in my front load washer, when I do the self clean feature now for the last 2 months, there aren't as many suds from left behind detergent. Yes. I have about 2 loads/day/10/week that I do and the bottle lasted about 2 months. I have always had issues with the pods as they are still too much detergent for the loads I do in my front load washer unless I am doing a comforter or something. Then you are spot treating, adding additional detergent for larger loads. This makes the laundry feel much cleaner than Tide does. I was to the point of using 1 cup of baking soda with my Tide pods to get laundry to feel clean without any left behind soap residue. This initial bottle was the answer to my prayers. I ran out. Purchased a 2nd bottle. The first squirt, only half a squirt came out. I tilt back to refill the cap and back down and squeeze. Nothing. I remove the cap and look and the flap inside that is designed to dispense the proper amount of detergent is dangling. No amount of fiddling works to fix the issue. The flap will flip back after every squirt and block the exit. I decide to ask Whirlpool for an extra cap. Amazon says contact Whirlpool for any issues. Not them. No sense in returning a bottle that I have used some product from already. Trying to do the right thing, I reach out to Whirlpool. After sitting on hold for over an hour, the rep tells me I need to contact Amazon and she doesn't know why they sent me to Whirlpool and hangs up. No other solution offered. She actually says to me, "That is stupid to ask for an extra cap. Just get the entire bottle." I go back to Amazon and the only choice is to return/replace otherwise it will direct me back to Whirlpool. So now I receive the 3rd bottle in the mail yesterday from Amazon and that flap is broken as well. I have now been on hold with Whirlpool at my work desk on my cell phone for 2.5 hours and I called right at 8 a.m. when they opened. I have left my desk and returned and it is still on hold. There is NO option to contact Whirlpool via LiveChat without a model number/serial number and the email options are also for only appliances. If you go to the Whirlpool SWASH website, the only option is to use good old USPS and mail them a strongly worded disappointment letter or sit on hold on the phone and hope that they will answer your call. For this simple reason, I am returning both bottles and going elsewhere to another company to buy a totally different detergent. If I can't get hold of anyone, then I don't want to use your product. Don't give me CoVid as your excuse if you have NO email address for complaints or assistance because this is the year 2021 not 2000. Everyone has customer support via email especially now with CoVid! I cannot recommend this product simply due to the fact that if you ever have an issue you won't be able to let them know.
