What a man Mitch is. Scarlett's knight in shining metal. He saw a woman who needed him and as he knew first hand what it is like to grow up rough, wanted to help in any way he could. Scarlett was wary at first and did not want to accept the help, but it was not only her she had to consider, so she swallowed her pride and accepted his help.Their journey to love was exciting, gave me shivers, and also had a little bit of angst that was simply stunning. Sometimes in a series, the first one blows your mind, but the stories that follow just lack that punch to the gut feeling that the first one gave you. This story had its own punch, I am delighted to say. Each story had its own uniqueness that was totally addictive, and the characters were all different and brought a little something special without taking away from the others.A book I read in one sitting, as I could not bear to put it down. To say it was enthralling is not doing it the justice it deserves. I am super keen to read the next book. I think that one will be knocked out of the park and straight into outer space. I can feel it's epicness now.

Scarlett James left her boyfriend with child in tow, knowing the next time he hit her it might likely be her last. Protecting her son was her priority, Scarlett kept on planning to move on but when the money gets low she finds a temporary place to stay and work until they can leave again.Mitch Jensen is more than willing to help Scarlett out, he would do it for anyone needing help, but Scarlett brings out the man in him. Mitch has no problem with Scarlett having a son and has a plan to get Scarlett to trust him, problem is Scarlett is scared of repeating past mistakes. Can Scarlett open her heart again to someone who is proving he is the worth the chance.Good story, I liked the whole drag racing back story. Scarlett is trying to be tough, she has had to be and I think Mitch understands that. I thought the portions of the story where the son were involved were quite fun, could definitely imagine the interactions with each character. Very enjoyable.

Oh my goodness! This book was even better than the first and I really enjoyed it. This book kept you reeled in and then bottom, what a cliff hanger Noone is expecting. Reading book 3 right this second!!!

Scarlett decided to make a new life for herself and her sons Levi. When her car decides to give up she walks into Kitty's garage. Sparks fly between them the instant they meet. Mitch works himself into their lives and shows Scarlett that she is worthy of the world.

The editing in this book was better. I did like all the characters in the first book. But the only reason I read this book was because the author didn't end t he first book. I am glad that I read this book. The editing was the only reason I didn't want to read this book.

All I can say is WOW! I am left speechless with PowerShift. Not only is the story amazing but the ending Holy Hell Woman I need more...you can't leave me hanging like that.PowerShift touches on a very real and unfortunately all to common subject. Winter Travers took a horrible situation that Scarlett was in and turned it into a positive of what one deserves in life. The only problem is will Scarlett stop fighting herself and let others in?Scarlett is running from a bad situation and ends up at Mitch's body shop looking for help on her car. Little does either know that that one encounter could change both of their lives.Mitch is my Knight in Shinning Armor. The reformed bad boy now turned semi Saint tries to help Scarlett see that there is more to life then how she was living. Will his persistence win her over?Then you throw in Levi - how can one not love a smart, sweet talking 4 year old. He had me smiling throughout the entire book.I loved Mitch and Scarlett's story. PowerShift is book 2 of Skid Row Kings Series. This is Mitch's story. He meets the beautiful, fiesty and fragile Scarlett one day and she turns his world upside down. Mitch is proably the "best boyfriend " any girl could ask for. From day one he takes care of Scarlett and her son Levi..but Scarlett pushes him away every chance she gets. Scarlett was in an abusive relationship for five years and she just recently moved from Washington to IL. She is looking to start a new life and do it all on her own. Even though Mitch wants to be there every step of the way. Will Scarlett let Mitch in and help ? Can she open her heart again to love ?Well I suggest you check out PowerShift. It can be read as a standalone but I suggest reading book 1 Downshift to get a better understanding of characters and back story. Happy Reading!!

I love this series and this book was a great addition. Scarlett is running from the only life she has ever known. She has only her son Levi to think about. New life, new town, new place to live and a new job is a lot for Scarlett to take in. So when her car breaks down she is on her last straw. In walks Mitch. One look at Scarlett's bruised face and crapy apartment and he wants to help. But he need to walk the fine line between helping and taking over. He knows what he wants and that is Scarlett and Levi. He just needs to convince her with a little help from Levi. Love this family and can't wait for Kurt's book.

I couldn’t wait to dive into Mitch’s story. I absolutely adored Scarlett, I loved her attitude and I think she was perfect for mitch and Levi was such a doll.

This series is so addictive. I just love the Jensen boys. They are hot and don't stop at anything to get what they want.

Another good book by Winter Travers, skid row kings is a great series I love how protective Mitch is, Please don't let me have to wait long first the 3rd book!!!

OMG what can I say I am absolutely loving this awesome series !Winter knows what she's doing that's for sure I have been sucked into both books so far and am so disappointed when I rudely kick out at the end .... and the ending in this book I did not see coming thank god I have already 1-clicked the third and sadly final book in this amazing series!!You have hot alpha guys awesome kick ass females that I could only wish were my friends/family and hot done up cars oh my gosh the whole package in each book .... I'm blown away !Highly recommend each book so far !
