Couldn't get any locally so resorted to on-line. Have used these for many years in our caravan and find they work really well. Good value for money and arrived almost 'instantly'.

Our house is well ventilated yet for some reason we seem to get a degree of moisture accumulating within our wardrobes and I needed something to reduce the amount of moisture, which results in mildew forming particularly on my shoes. We use this product along with a couple of moisture traps which we obtained through a previous purchase. Simply fill up the top container with the crystals and over time, 4-8 weeks, the moisture will be withdrawn out of the system and condenses via the crystals into the resevoir below. Empty the resevoir, refill and you are ready to go again.There are a couple of things that you should note:1. Use a scoop to fill the moisture trap as it is not easy from the bag and always wear gloves and fill the trap on a piece of newspatper or similar; easier to clean up..2. Be careful where you dispose of the liquid that accumulates and definitely not into a septic tank3. The liquid is quite caustic and a small spill which fell onto our oak floors removed the varnish.Whilst the product itself is good, if you are using it as we do to remove moisture from fitted wardrobes, might I suggest that periodically, you remove the clothes and let them air outside on a sunny day and if, like me, the stuff appears to attack your shoes, do likewise with the shoes.One last thing, whilst I have awarded the item 5 stars on the basis of what the product does, check the prices as Amazon re-sellers do not always provide the best deal and my local branch of Charles Dyas often sells it cheaper. Just a thought.

I bought these crystals to replace the used ones in the moisture traps that I use in my boat for winter storage. These crystals really work, are excellent value, and no more mould in the boat or condensation.

The crystals do absorb moisture, so they do work. However you need to ensure that the room volume is not too large for the amount of crystals/containers which you have in use. So for me it is only partially successful as I have a large volume garden room which is susceptible to condensation.

I have used this product for many years to keep the interior of my car free from moisture build up during the winter and would recommend it for similar purposes

This is a great value refill that works out a lot cheaper than even the pound shop moisture traps. The only negative I can think of is that the resealable bag doesn't reseal properly or well enough to maintain an airtight seal. I ended up using a large clip seal and then putting it in a plastic sealable £1 box. It seems like overkill but I didn't want to go back to it and find it had changed into one big moisture trap while my back was turned. Apart from that, this is a recommended product and it was sent quickly so I'll be buying more when the time comes.

Excellent product which removes a surprising amount of water. The pack also has a handy pourer, which means you just need to screw the cap back on instead of trying to reseal the bag.

They work as intended but try buying the gel moisture packs if possible, they are much cleaner and easier to use that this crystal form. When moisture get trapped and you need to empty these the container underneath do NOT get on your hands or pour down pipes, its awful stuff
