Very very sturdy. Quality of metal is great, no bending, no sharp edges, no paint flakes. Fits my 63 inch doorway nicely! My little one yanks on it like a monkey and it does not move! Height is perfect for littles, tall dogs etc. easy to open and close, and install. I love that the gate goes both ways when opening..

This gate works great for what we needed. We have a large opening between the living room and kitchen and this allows me to keep the grandchildren safely out of the kitchen. The gate is secure, but the opening is easy for adults to open.

LOVE THIS! No putting together, tho' box is heavy due to it being wood & length I needed. But took out of box, set it up, & done! Very good quality! Has plastic on bottom so as I set it on my (matching) wood floor, no scatching of my floor! Added bonus! Worth every penny & looks lovely!

I should have bought this long time ago!!! I have a hard time keeping our dogs out of our teens son’s room! They want to get in the bed with them but what a mess 😳. This is so easy to use and works great!!

This brand was recommended by AI, oddly enough. So I thought I'd give it a try... and I'm sorry I did. I guess it's hard to get a pressure-mounted gate to push together if the width is much longer than an actual door size. I was going for 104" and the extensions are too flimsy to hold together straight enough for the gap in the gate to close so the gate can be used. And I tried, to the point where I was sweating and panting... the dogs stayed on that side of the gate just to watch me fidget with it! The width of the gate stays put with pressure if I keep the zip tie on the gate (I had to set it up in a doorway to push the gate together enough to zip tie it, again) but there is NO WAY it's ever going to be functional with opening and closing gate beyond the gate and maybe one or two large extensions. All four? Fuhgettaboutit. So now it all has to go back in the box and I get to drag it to UPS. Even the return is a pain. Save yourself the hassle, I say.

I love the sturdiness of this gate. However, I am in the process of drilling into my door frame for hopes of getting it to function. It does not fit a 24” width without a little modification.

I bought the 76"-81" version and it was very easy to install, it's very sturdy even in the large opening, and the gate opener is very easy to operate with one hand. If you have a thicker wall base such as wood, make sure you take that into account when you measure your opening width. The features for hold-open when the door is at 90 degrees, and auto close when less than 90 are also very convenient.

We purchased this gate in March and I waited to write review to see how it held up. I recommend this thing to anyone and everyone! We currently use it to divide our kitchen from our living room because we just got carpet in living room. While we are gone this keeps the dogs in the kitchen/laundry areas and off of carpet in case accidents happen. Also great for keeping kids in kitchen with messy eating haha. It has stood up to a 3 year old, 2year old and 2 dogs. There was one time gate didn’t wanna latch and it seemed the gate was loose on one side causing it to not lock. Tightened at the wall and right back to being an awesome gate! I wish there was an option to lock the gate because my 3 year old new how to open it day one and it a taken my 2 year old 3 months and she can open it now too 🤣 But one of the cabinet locks from Walmart will work it just falls to the ground so we don’t use it all the time.
