I shopped and shopped and finally decided on this laminator. Not sure if it is the best or whatever, but it works very well. I have been laminated cardstock, including two layers of thick cardstock and so far not a single issue, every lamination has been near perfect. I have been using the sheets that came with the unit and they perform very well. Takes several minutes to warm up and the lamination speed is probably average, but the bottom line is it works very well. The corner rounder is a nice addition though it only offers one radius option. The paper cutter on the top of the unit works with paper but I cannot get it to cut a finished lamination. My $10 paper cutter cuts the laminated pieces with no problem.

I have had purchased a 2nd laminator for school use. This laminator works very well and the customer service is GREAT, if you do encounter any problems. I highly recommend this laminator. It is easy to use and a good buy.

The laminator is great. But the service provided by Mars was OUTSTANDING. He responded so quickly, he was so knowledgeable and he walked me through some troubleshooting options. When nothing worked, he was quick to send me a replacement even though it was well beyond the date that this laminator was covered through Amazon. I cannot stress how much our company appreciates this service and we will never buy anything to do with a laminator, including laminating sheets from anyone but Mars. It has been great and easy to use so far, with the exception of what I assume is a heat control issue. I have been laminating a bunch of stuff for homeschool, and it must’ve gotten too hot? I slid the page in, and nothing came out. I’m going to have to take it apart and see what I can do, I guess.

I received the A3 Laminator Model LM 381 as a birthday present but after one use the heating element didn't work the second time. I emailed the company and they were kind enough to send me a new one. The laminator is easy to use and fits perfectly on my desk.

I purchased this larger unit to process multiple sheets at a time. I got it out of the box yesterday and proceeded to laminate older newspaper articles. I got about 10 done, and the laminator swallowed one of my items, and I contacted the company as the instructions said. In the end, they wanted pictures and wanted me to take it apart and retrieve the stuck item. Then I got this from them - " This is a paper jam. If you need to laminate a large number of documents, we recommend using the laminator for half an hour, then waiting about ten minutes to allow it to cool down. Otherwise, the temperature will continue to rise, damaging the laminating film and causing it to get caught in the machine."
