Jungian Psychology & Catholic Theology
Victor White, O.P., was a Dominican Catholic priest and an expert in the theology of Thomas Aquinas. He was also a psychoanalyst in the Jungian tradition, and a friend of Carl Jung, the Swiss psychiatrist. Jung had a more positive view of religion than did Freud, and always wanted to have a really competent theologian with whom he could discuss his ideas. He found one in White. This book is White's attempt to talk about some of the major themes of Jungian psychology in a way that is compatible with Catholic theology.

Great book, particularly if you are interested in the work of Carl Jung. The appendix at the end of the book written by Gebhard Frei is an added bonus and is superb.

Catholics/Christians interested in Jordan Peterson, read this
Jung is difficult, no getting around that, but White is a great guide. The real value of this book, however, is in White's original thought as much as it is in his review of Jungian psychology.
