Lasers work well!
I've purchased a lot of these (about 30) for various pistols with rails, mostly the Keltec P17 for friends. Brightness, battery life, size, low weight, reliability, durability, ease of charging is all fine. Attach with one bolt, stays attached ok. I zero them with red bore sighters which unfortunately you have to do fairly often. Zeroing isn't perfect but close enough. I've only broken one by torquing it on too hard. For the price these lasers are great!

For ~$25; kind of wow. (will update if it fails me)
Five stars given, in light of the ~$25 or so cost, which makes this kind of amazing.Obviously don't expect this to necessarily outperform a 4 star 3-figure name-brand mil-spec version. And yes, it's a low-cost foreign import with a plastic housing. But really, this thing is pretty remarkable. It's low profile, the flash-light is surprisingly bright. I mean, seriously, it's very good, and brighter than some larger units, but a decent amount. The Green Laser is visible to 50 yards in daylight decently enough, and of course at night, is good for a long long way. I LOVE that it's USB rechargeable, vs taking some goofy exotic and expensive batteries. (The type of which this marketshare will buy the cheap versions of, which are usually just terrible). So having a rechargeable Li battery inside, is fantastic. Also, that means no housing for a battery compartment, meaning you get more power in the same footprint too. I can't comment on its life, as only have a few minutes total run time, but so far so good.I can't comment on how well it holds zero yet, but will say the adjustment screws were not overly loose (a common problem with low budget items of this nature), and actually had a quality feel to it. I also can't comment on how well it will hold onto and stay stiffly mounted, once mounted - I'll learn that with time (typically low-cost units use low-alloy screws that easily stretch and lose tension, and the connection threads are just tapped into the plastic, vs a metal insert, so we shall see on this one; I'm guessing with a second retorque in a week, it'll be serviceable enough). It's made for pistols, but will go on any picatinny rail just fine.As to the plastic housing, I don't actually mind that - not for a $25 unit. It keeps the weight down and also less "clack" when it brushes up against something.I'm seriously thinking of buying a pile of these and throwing them on everything and gifting them. This is a LOT of power and capability, in a small package, for just $25.

Poor Redesign WRT Charging Lights
Poor redesign. Red charging light not visible but on older design was very bright. Green is very dim once unit fully charged. Old was very bright. Hopefully redesign still holds zero. Haven’t been to range with it and may update review once I’ve put some rounds down range.
