Had to return it.
I use a moisture meter every day, so functionality, consistency, and durability are important. The probes and their connection points seemed cheap and were loose after a few uses. The worst part was that in scan mode, it read 7-12% before I touched it to a surface. This of course made it seem like everything I was testing was wet. There was no way to recalibrate it, so I returned it. Maybe the one I got was defective and I should have given them another try. It looks and feels like a quality tool, but did not work for me.

Great Moisture Meter
Great moisture meter for the cost. Does not have species settings, but does work as scan or pinless.

Inaccurate readings
Firstly, let me state that I am a professional Mold Remediation and I have been for the past 6 years. This profession has allowed me to use a number of different moisture meters and brands throughout the years. This meter has been the worst I've ever used as it's the most expensive one I have purchased and the most inaccurate device I have used. I'm uncertain if its just this device or if the brand is terrible. It simply gives says all material are moist. The seller is also in responsive and I was only able to get 76 dollars back from amazon after spending $380. Do not buy this device, your better off with the cheaper brands that work and that has better customer support.

Quality is suspect
My first unit went bad after just a couple weeks. The sensor simply did not work. Customer service was very good, and they sent a replacement immediately (and didn't even ask for the old unit to be returned). However my replacement unit still has issues. The sensor only works intermittently.
