The only thing about the reprint is that the original has the verse references at the end of each verse while the reprint puts them at the end of the chapter. Otherwise, it is amazing how much Matthew Henry puts together verses from across the spectrum of the Bible that reflect God, His Majesty, and so forth that puts us in a mind to pray.

Has changed my prayer time.

Reading this book makes me want to pray and praise my Lord more and more. Great book!

This book is definitely enriching my prayer life and scripture knowledge.

This book was so thoughtfully put together to help God's people to have a more spiritual prayer life. Verses of scripture are rightly divided in accordance to the elements of the Lord's Prayer, and there are special prayers as well that are based on scripture. A treasure that I hold dear, 2nd only to God's Word.

The only reason I've given it 4 stars is because it seems all over the place! The sparse contents page makes it very difficult to navigate with no chapter title etc. I think it could have been better arranged and clear about the content of each chapter which are quite in depth when you get to them. This unfortunately doesn't do justice to the otherwise excellent book and the variety of wonderful soul enriching, scriptural prayers.

This inspirational book is a very helpful guide to those who are not confident in public prayer. I would recommend it to all who need encouragement in this field of theology.
