Love these! Very lightweight but feel sturdy and well made. Not a ton of light but I wanted them for ambiance anyway. Very cute pattern and they brighten up the corner just as I wanted.UPDATE: The bulb on one of these dimmed about a week later. I would have expected it to last a little longer. :(Also, when I tried to unscrew the lightbulb to replace it, the bottom of the bulb is attached to a wire that goes inside the battery area, so you can't remove it? I am going to contact the manufacturer.

Bummer!... I just opened them up and seen that it was damaged at the rim. I pulled it out from the box and even the battery housing was hanging from the wires at the bottom.The other light fixture was in good condition and I was really happy with the ambiance it added to my room. Since it's very lightweigrevie narrow it can be added to even the flimsiest of wall shelves. The metal design creates a warm and pretty reflection on the wall when lit.The light fixtures require three AAA batteries each. The battery housing could have been a better quality. The battery cover (or door) is not hinged and I'll have to be careful not to lose it. For this reason I wouldn't recommend using this outdoors unless you live in a very dry climate. Even in Cali, our weather would create rust on the batteries quite quickly.For the price of the lights I was not disappointed in the quality. It was pretty much what I had hoped for, minus the damage of course. I wasn't even too upset about the damage, until I found out all the steps that are needed to get a replacement. I need to 1) return both lights, even the good one. 2) wait until the fixtures have been received 3) wait until I received credit 4) reorder the product 5) then wait for them to arrive again and hope neither is damaged.I don't appreciate having to return BOTH light fixtures when only one is bad, hence the poor review.

You get what you pay for, I bought these for my hallway so there was some light, the bulb went significantly went duller after a few days but still works. They look very nice at least - and no you can't replace the bulb - it's attached.*update. After 1 week the bulb has almost no light

Battery life lasts as long as the batteries you put in.So don’t buy cheap ones if your gonna have on for long periods.

The Edison bulbs give off a nice bright light, but the cutout aluminum keeps it from glaring! These lamps are EXACTLY what I wanted on my patio. When the ceiling fan lights would be too much, they add the perfect mood enhancement. TERRIFIC BARGAIN for the money, and unnecessarily attractive ... I love utilitarian things with panache!

These were great for what I was looking for. I wanted some small lamps in my kitchen that I didn't have to plug in. I know some other reviewers said one of the two was broken when they received them but I didn't have that issue at all. I can't speak to how long the lights last given that they run on batteries but I only turn them on occasionally in the evening.

UPDATE: After using this for ~10 evenings, the one working light no longer works. New batteries don't help. Rating lowered from three stars to only two, as if was pretty while it lasted.Like other reviewers, I received one working light and one defective--it didn't light up at all. I knowingly rolled those dice when placing the order, since I only have a place for one lamp, and the price was right. The working lamp looks great, and I'm very pleased with it. Nothing to be done with the non-functioning one, as the return process sounds absurdly long and burdensome.

These are beautiful decorative pieces, but the batteries die quickly. It is quite costly to replace them. I kept the lamp for a decorative piece, but bought a plug in lamp for lighting.

These sit on the radiator cover and are just the perfect size for subdued light and attractive to look at. Also ideal for putting on a dining table as when lite have an oriental feel. Really pleased with them.

Returned same day as order arrived. Only one of the two lanterns working when new batteries fitted. Very disappointed as they are a beautiful light.

I like them but only one works. Such a pain now having to return and try to find an alternative.

Beautiful pair of lamps. Great value for money. Highly recommended.
