This globe is absolutely flawless, there is not 1 thing to criticize, just perfectly done. Absolutely immaculate craftsmanship, all map edges perfectly aligned.In the past, I had bought Other brands of globes and had to return them, as the map edges were not even lined up on other brands, but THIS GLOBE was perfectly made, not like the other brands i had tried.After seeing how lovely this globe is, I bought a few more of these globes during this past holiday season as gifts, and all of this brand of globe were excitingly beautiful as well as informative and totally up to date.I bought one of the silver globes for my very modern daughter's very modern aesthetic, hoping it will inspire her to travel. The darker silver land on lighter silver oceans was gorgeous and could happily live in any decor. All fonts are perfectly clear. So very well done. The silver one is very modern looking.I also bought a gold one,(gold ocean, silver land) and it was a bit darker gold than i had realized, but still a very beautiful shade of very dark amber/deep tan color, almost a coppery butterscotch color really.ONE THING i was searching for and found in this globe, was,the oceans were NOT filled with antique drawings of ships of colonizers' antique ships allllllll over the water. Not everyone wants to see That on their globe every time they glance at it.........I must have looked at 100 globes trying to find globes WITHOUT antique ships painted on oceans...............Also, the oceans were NOT filled and criss-crossed with dotted lines just all over every ocean, telling us how long it would take to sail from that spot to this here spot. That adding lines all over the oceans is so so commonly done,and i was SO GLAD to find THIS globe that does NOT have all those messy looking lines all over the oceans. Plus, that 'dates' a globe, as travel times get shorter each year...... adding such lines is messy, irrelevant info, to have all those lines all over the oceans, so i was SO HAPPY to finally find THIS globe without those lines on the oceans................This is surprisingly hard to find in a globe, is NOT having travel time estimate travel time lines all over the oceans, which looks congested, sloppy, in my opinion. I prefer this clean, understated look far better.Thank you.Very happy with this globe in every way.

Excellent quality globe.

This is a quality globe. Looks nice on a desk. All the writing is clear, although some of it is small.

Great center piece on a minimalistic scale but larger than it seems, definitely a conversation starter

This is a quite attractive, subtle globe, yet plenty of info. I am keeping this next to my desk. I do keep a magnifying glass next to it. It is of moderate size, about the size of a basketball. I had looked at less expensive globes, but I'm glad I went for this one, It is worth it.

Beautiful and pleasing.

I bought this globe, because it appeared to be a beautiful and high-end decoration. I expected it to have a much more solid feel given the price. I was underwhelmed by the quality of the globe itself and the not-so-massive metal. The locations were also not very legible. I bought another globe for half the price which is higher quality. The value proposition is driving my rating.
