Majestic Mixed Dinner-plate Hibiscus (30+ Seeds)

The seeds came on time and I got about 50 seeds instead of 30 - so good. I planted all 50 though and only10 sprouted and are still living. The rest did not germinate. So not bad - 10 hibiscus plants for $5-$6 dollars. Can't wait to see which ones they are.

I LOVE HIBISCUS! They are just so beautiful. For the price, I feel these seeds are totally worth it. Since they are a mostly tropical plant, make sure you cut the tip of the seed with a razor blade before planting and you will have much better luck getting them to grow. There are a few duds in the bag but in all fairness, they give you WAY more than 30 seeds.. I would say they give you around 50+ so it evens out. I have had 7 out of the 11 I planted sprout (and I do not have a green thumb). My plants are still pretty small so they haven't flowered yet but I am very happy with my purchase.

seedling production is less than 15%. This is regardless of the starting processes employed which have always been more productive.

The seeds look great, and they are starting to sprout. The mystery of what variant of flower they are going to be is incredibly exciting and I can't wait until the first flowers!
