SkullcandyHesh ANC Over-Ear Wireless Headphones - Grey (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Previously I owned the white and tan Skullcrusher Wireless headphones, which have significantly better quality and aesthetics. After a couple of years the plastic of the headband spontaneously fell apart/broke. Insane battery life, only having to charge a few times a month.By comparison, these feel like half the weight and feel very cheaply made. The battery is life is also shockingly bad when ANC is enabled. The plus side is that this at least offers fast charging with USB-C so it gets like an hour charge in a couple of minutes.The ANC is quite impressive, although I have minimal prior experience with active noise canceling. Bass is just right, hitting a good sweet spot. Obviously you can EQ to tailor to your preference.Watching "It Follows" with these will make your hairs stand up and give you goosebumps, thanks to subsonic bass (aka infrasound), a common technique used in horror films to subconsciously make you afraid. That film is a great benchmark for subsonic bass in my opinion.At work I use professional studio headphones, primarily the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X.I wouldn't use the Hesh ANC for important audio work, but whenever it's noisy outside my office, these are perfect to enable me to concentrate.

Use this at the gym. Definitely cancels out the background noise of Zumba classes happening in the next room and the gym’s radio/conversations. I usually get motion sick with noise cancelling headphones (sadly that is a thing), but these are perfect because the noise cancelling feature isn’t super strong like Bose headphones are, but they still get the job done. Buttons are easy to push, and collapsing feature of the ear pads are great. They on my head well even when doing bench and light jogging. The bass is perfect, I listen to heavy bass EDM while working out and it’s not too overpowering like the skullcandy crusher. I haven’t had any issues so far and I’ve been using them for about two months now.

Great option for the price. I use for work meetings, music and podcasts/audiobooks.Mic sounds surprisingly good in meetings.Bass is a bit overpowering and there is no EQ app to adjust. Could be a good thing if you like heavy bass, but this is a downside for me.Other issue is bluetooth can only remember one device, so I have to reset to switch between my laptop and phone, which is a bit annoying. Basically need to reset and re-pair every time I switch.

On a budget but looking for something that will help with concentration & music? this is it!I will say it's def pretty creepy to hear crystal clear conversations through apartment walls or office building floors (when it's just me on my floor but I can hear convos on the floor below).But if eavesdropping is your thing, these will definitely help.When I need extra isolation from people but need to coexist, I slip in a pair of Mack's fit slim fit earplugs (the purple ones) inside my canals in addition to these skull candy hesh and headphones for extra quietness - perfect for napping on flights, trains, any other public transit, or just having some quiet time from roommates/horribly noisy neighbors/overstimulation.Love that it comes with an optional headphone jack for when the battery dies, too!

These headphones great better then Beats Solo 3( I have a pair) the noise cancellation is great the quality of the music is great I wish the volume was better cause I like my ears to bleed but it’s still amazing and it does make a little hissing sound when you not playing nothing but it’s not even that bad this is a honest review and some people just overreact cause rating this below a 3 star is crazy so I high recommend theses

For the price you just can't beat the sound of these things. Great frequency range with the highs ringing in crystal clear and great low end bass. I looked at headphones 2-3 times more costly than these and I'm glad I saved a few bucks! My only complaint is that the earpads do fit tight and aren't as comfy as some other headphones I've had over the years. I'm hoping as I use them more the rubber pads will soften up. Otherwise these things are a great bang for the buck and other reviewers were spot on with their performance! BTW I'm a former DJ with very picky ears!

When I first got these headphones, I wrote a favorable review on how great they were. I admit I bought them for their nice color and skullcandy logo, reported good sound quality, and cheapish price range. I had no problems with them for a few months and thoroughly enjoyed them. After that, I ran into instances where they would disconnect from my phone constantly while I was using them. Keep in mind, I used my phone with these headphones so many times to where whenever I would turn on the headphones, they automatically connected to my phone as soon as I turned them on. Shortly after connecting to my phone, I would get through about 10 seconds of a song until it disconnected and stopped playing my music. At first I thought it was just glitching, I attempted a lot of different ways to try and fix it by restarting my phone, powering off the headphones and reconnecting, and even removing them from my bluetooth devices and pairing them again. Again and again, the same instance would happen and interrupt my music. I searched and searched for answers, but everyone with these headphones have the same problem with no permanent solution. Like me, not many people know about this before buying these headphones. Please, if you want long-lasting headphones, these are not the ones for you.

Love these headphones! the noise canceling doesn’t rlly work that well when it’s windy out but besides that I have no complaints the battery stays charged for a rlly long time as long as you remember to turn them off after using :)

Honestly for the price I am super happy. My last pair of Hesh 2 lasted me 5 years and are still going but were due for an upgrade. The hesh Anc is a great upgrade. Good bass. Clear sound. Easy to use. Couldn't ask for better at the price point. Definatly more comfortable then the older model. I wear them 8 hours a day at work.
