Packard Bell iMedia S Desktop PC review
Excellent performance for a machine at that price. Easy set-up, and very fast. I have been using this for 2 weeks now and have had no problems.

High quality for a budget price
Superb computer for the price. i3, 3.3ghz for only £299 from a high quality manufacturer, what an amazing bargain. The tower is smaller than and average PC it takes up less space. It has 8 USB slots, 6 on the back and 2 on the front. Also has a hdmi connector so it can be connected to a modern TV (also has the standard VGA port to connect to a computer monitor). The 4 GB of RAM can be upgraded to a mazimum of 8, but they have left an empty slot and I have already priced the extra RAM at £12.95. It requires no technical knowldege to set up, just an hour or 2 to do the windows updates and backup. It doesn't come with a windows CD, so one of the first things it does when turning on is to ask if you want to create back up discs (you require 4 blank DVD's for this) and I think this is well worth doing. The only minor gripe I have is that no speakers are included (just a mouse and keyboard), but speakers are so cheap that this doesn't really matter, just worth being aware in advance. Another nice feature is that although you plug your speakers (when you have bought them!) into the back, but there is also a 3.5 jack for this on the front into which you can plug headphones and this shuts the speakers off. The other thing it's worth noting is that you can save £15 off the price if you buy before 31 January, 2013 (see the special offers section of the page for the code). The wireless is okay, but isn't as powerful as my laptop's. The imedia was upstairs and the router downstairs and the wireless was only at 2 out of 5 bars signal strength. I am so pleased with this computer that I am seriously considering buying another one.

Why does it require a headline?
The flashing led on the front is annoying, and it seems to have no useful purpose. Rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb rhubarb
