Update (Feb 4, 2014)I've been using these for a month or so now, and I can confirm that they still work. Unfortunately, I was way off on their capacity. I hadn't been draining the batteries completely in use, and they seemed to be on par with the OEM battery -- they'd both drop down to the half-charge mark on the display after a moderate day of use. Once I started using them to full depletion (according to the Camera's low-voltage limit), it became apparent that the Canon battery had much more capacity.I have since bought a hobby charger capable of safely and automatically measuring the capacity of Lithium Ion batteries. My genuine Canon LP-E12 (rated at 875mAh) has a capacity of 832mAh. One Vivitar VIV-CB-E12 battery (rated at 1275mAh) has a capacity of 391mAh.Bottom line -- it works, but lies horribly about capacity. They claim to have 46% greater capacity, but actually have 53% LESS capacity.Now, that being said, the REAL  Canon LP-E12 Battery Pack  costs twice as much. So you're actually getting your money's worth of electrons, more or less. You're just being fed lies in the process, and have that capacity divided up between two batteries.-=-=-=-=-I have charged and used both batteries. My Canon EOS-M recognizes them and reports the charge level, they charge in both the provided and original, Canon-branded chargers, and so far appear to be 100% compatible. I don't have the equipment necessary to accurately measure their capacity, but even if they only hold half of the power the Canon-branded OEM batteries provide, or even a quarter, it's still a better deal than the genuine article. Every indication so far (based on charge times) is that they hold at least half the charge of the original, and almost certainly a lot more. Will report back if I discover otherwise.What really surprised me, though, is that the included extras are actually pretty good! I expected to completely ignore the "professional cleaning kit." They're very proud of their microfiber cloth, proclaiming on the package that if it's not the best one you've ever used, they'll refund you and pay return shipping. Not a very bold claim for something that weighs under an ounce and will fit easily in a letter envelope, but it is actually a pretty high-quality microfiber cloth. Far better than the ones you get with cell phone screen protectors. It's not QUITE as good as the one that came with my Smitty's Glass Wax kit, but I'll keep it anyway, despite their generous return policy ;). The brush is wonderfully soft and effective, and the blower has a much smaller opening than I expected, giving it a pretty good air velocity. Between the three of them, they spiffed up my camera quite nicely after misplacing my lens cap and leaving the whole getup unprotected in my coat pocket overnight.Bottom line: I got way more out of this purchase than I expected.

I ordered the 2 Battery and charger kit after reading that on some not OEM batteries they work the best with a charger that matches to them. The items came nicely packaged and it was almost like holiday season with all the goodies. The batteries were in sealed plastic, the blower which i didn't think would be much turns to be quite strong and the included brush is really nice. Also great is the included car charger. Several times while we were traveling we thought wouldn't it be nice to have a car charger and now we do. One battery took a charge no problem and worked well lasting an appropriate amount of shots and didn't seem to drain when the camera was not in use. This was not so for the other battery. This is where Digital Goja came in - they responded promptly to my situation in a professional manner. I was very glad i purchased from them through Amazon. 2nd battery now works like a champ too. I would definitely buy from Digital Goja again - they aim to please with superb communication. It was their unsolicited follow up email that gave me no qualms in contacting them. I can't review for longevity but for now batteries and addl products seem AOK. What one gets in this package seems excellent for the price paid.

Product is an excellent deal. The charger and plug adapter for Europe worked like a charm. The batteries themselves as other users have noted do not last as long as the actual Canon battery, however for the price absolutely worth it. My guess is shooting time is 1/2 on these batteries, so plan accordingly. If you use them as spares you will be fine, but if you are used to the Canon batteries and leave with just the 1 Vivitar you may be surprised and run out of juice at an inopportune moment. All and all great purchase and the added accessories are a nice bonus.

If the product description did not mislead consumers into believing these batteries would last as long or longer than the Canon battery and told the truth about the fact that these batteries, at best, last about 75% as long as the OEM battery I would have rated it 5 stars.Do not get me wrong here, for the price that you are paying they are WELL worth the money, I just hate false advertising. You will need to carry both batteries fully charged to get about the same time (maybe a little more) than the battery that comes with the SL1. As far as the extras: I have to say that the microfiber cloth and the rest of the cleaning supplies are very good and I do carry them with me at all times.The rapid charger is excellent also and charges all the batteries including the Canon battery.

First off, this distributor is very conscientious, I would buy again from them in complete confidence.The Vivitar batteries a re gore at buy for the money. With the charger and added goodies, it's a fantastic buy.The batteries themselves seem ok. They charged in both the supplied charger and the Canon chargers. They powered up my EOS M camera and each showed a full charge. Great sis a back up or second/ third battery, at a third of the cost of OEM Canon battery.My only negative is, they should come with a battery terminal protector.

The order was received promptly and packaged well. The batteries don't last as long as the original batter that I received with my camera, but they will last through most of good day of 'shooting'! The batteries fit in my original charger, which is good. The auto charger is a welcome addition. The cleaning supplies are always handy to have.

I was a little hesitant ordering these since some of the reviews said the batteries didn't last as long as the Canon batteries. These batteries lasted just as long and actually appeared to charge faster. We took the camera to the beach and the cleaning kit worked great. Somehow sand got into the camera and just a few blast of air it cleaned it out.
