Perfect hair dye shampoo works wonders for a young woman in their 20s, 30s, 40ss
When I was 32 years old I noticed my first gray hair on the top of my head and a few little white hairs on the bottom which I inherited from my mom. I said to myself I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS. I'm still young. I am NOT ready to look like a 60 or 70 year old woman yet. That's why I started to color my hair back to dark brown. The shampoo works wonders for me. Although there's one downside I wish you came in a bigger bottle and a two pack instead of one. But luckily I have it saved under my yearly subscriptions for deliveries. My next delivery of it is wonderful shampoo is on November 5th I think. I will never stop using it until I'm ready to look older than I am which might be years down the road. I recommend that this for any kind of woman who doesn't want to go gray yet or white. If it recommends washing your hair two to three times a week with it and wait 5 minutes in the shower or bath for the color to really work it's magic.

Gray hair brightened
I’ve used this for years to brighten the gray in my hair, removing brassy tones. Leaves my hair soft and with nice scent.

No more brassy hair
I had a not so great salon experience and my hair was bleached way more than I wanted it to be. The color was not natura at all and very yellow and brassy. Gave this a try and within three uses the extreme yellow tone has gone and now I have a light ash brownish color that suits my hair way more. I did notice that the color worked right away within the first wash, but by the third wash the results were amazing!

I'm pretty sure this is common with most purple shampoos though
alright, so it does what it says it does. it really does tone your hair, takes away the brassiness and adds a silver sheen to it (as the name suggests). however, my biggest gripe is that it leaves my hair SOOOOO DRYING. I'm pretty sure this is common with most purple shampoos though. but honestly if im trying to tone my hair to get rid brassiness, do i have to sacrifice having soft hair as well? its like, i have to choose between toned hair and soft hair. i cant have both. mind you i have fine dark brown black hair thats ombre into an ash blonde. i like this stuff because it does what it claims and its not misleading. good product overall though, i like it, but probably wont be repurchasing because i cant stand dry hair. oh, and it smells like detergent too. not bad but it may be unpleasant to some.

Allergic reaction
After using for a few years I’ve developed an allergic reaction on my scalp. Have the ingredients changed? Anyone else experienced this? : Sodium Laureth sulfate, coco-glucoside, Ped-7, glyceryl cocoate, disodium cocoamphodiacetate, glycol distearate, laureeth-4, cocomidoproptl (fragrance), benzophenome-4, salictus acid, disodium edta, sodium topopherol, hydrogenated palm glycerides citrate, hydroxtisohextl3-cyclohexene carbialdehtde, buttlpheextl, methlpropional umalol acid, violet43, HC blue no. Based on the list of allergies provided, you have a high sensitivity to common surfactants (sulfates, glucosides, betaines), synthetic fragrances, specific preservatives, and colorants. Many of these ingredients (specifically Hydroxyisohexyl 3-cyclohexene carboxaldehyde/Lyral and Butylphenyl methylpropional/Lilial) have been banned in the EU due to their high sensitization potential

Great for use as a toner
Excellent for use as a toner. Slather on with a touch of water and rub in good, cover with shower cap. Fortunately, my blonde hair does not turn purple from leaving this on for over an hour. It just takes any brassy or yellow tones out and leaves my bleached hair a natural blondish-white. Definitely worth a try if you have dyed your hair blonde and it came out yellow. If you leave this on and DO get some purple tones in your hair even after rinsing, don't worry, the purple will fade after a couple washes. I don't recommend this as a shampoo, though. It's a bit drying. If you are looking for a purple shampoo (not a toner) there are better ones out there.

My new best friend!!!
A-freaking-mazimg. I usually don't write reviews but every platinum blondes needs to know about this It's a deep purple & smells like grapes. I used to used shimmering lights but never really liked it. My hair turns brassy (of course) and I was so over my old shampoo I thought screw it, I'll try a new one and I'm so glad I did. With my old shampoo I would put it on my hair dry so it would absorb more and stick. Wash it out my hair felt like straw but looked a little better. With this I got my hair wet first put it in it and waited the five minutes it says on the bottle... Washed it out and peeked at the mirror..... I was astonished. Holy white! I will say for hair that is already light be prepared to have a purple hue if you put on those areas For the full 5, it washes out though. Next time I use it I'll leave it on the ends longer ( that's the brassy part for me) and less on top. It has an amazing lather, a nice smell and my hair didn't feel nearly as dry as with the shimmer lights. I'm attaching a photo of my hair, I didn't brush my hair so excuse the grossness (I just woke up) but wanted to share the amazing color. Basically this is a God sent for me.

Super potent formula
Super potent formula. If left on too long, hair goes from brassy to almost gray and can dry it out, but it does its job and it does it quickly and very well. Works more like an actual toner+developer rather than just a run-of-the-mill purple shampoo, so it shouldn't be used more than once a week and make sure to always follow with a repairing conditioner.

Growing out natural grey from dyed medium brown
I'm growing out my natural grey from a medium ash brown dye. Although Internet advice says I should be using a "blue" shampoo, I've tried a few blue and purple shampoos for the orange brassy tones from the fading brown dye. I've tried Fanola No Orange Shampoo (greys went greenish), Bold Uniq Purple Shampoo (dyed my nails with some brassy improvement), Light Blue Shade (was my favorite till now) and Illuminex Touch of Silver. Touch of Silver is now my favorite for bright greys, while removing brassy tones. Doesn't seem to dry my hair as much as the others either.

Disappointed
I didn’t get a chance to use this as by the time it had been delivered the whole contents had spilled out into the packaging. Very disappointing
