Not compatible
The cooktop is not compatible with various types of pots/pans. If it’s not sitting centered on the burner it will not turn on. The burners also cannot be on high settings at the same time. Overall I was expecting better.

This is just amazing almost like a comercial cooktop
Amazing

It's okay
I used it everyday and it does okay. It doesn't heat evenly so it's a little tricky to use. The heat is also inconsistent and you can't just walk away and do other things unless you are boiling water.

1800W 2 Hob Induction Cooktop - Counter Top 120V AC Appliance - Dual Programmable Temp,Watts,Timer
This is a kitchen tool I had never used and needed to thoroughly read the good instructions as well as the wiki on induction cookers. These are ideal for use in a studio apartment with no stove available; it only requires a reasonable amount of countertop space and a dedicated 120VAC 15A wall plug that has nothing else with simultaneous current draw plugged into the circuit. It is also great to add 2 "burners" for keeping food hot in a party situation or when I need my range for other uses. This needs a 5.5 to about 9 inch diameter pot/pan with a magnetic iron or magnetic Stainless Steel (SS) construction. TriPly SS pans that are aluminum with a SS base layer should work. Not all SS pans will do; I have an old old 2 Qt. Revere Ware pan made of SS that does NOT work. Copper bottomed pans won't work. Aluminum pans won't work unless they have a metal iron plate in the base and are marked ok for induction range use; many modern aluminum pans incorporate a steel plate in their base for that purpose. A pyrex glass dish won't work. The test is to try a magnet on the pan bottom; if it sticks the pan should work. Cast iron pans will work but I would recommend against using a ceramic coated cast iron pan due to the weight; a careless thump could fracture the tempered glass induction cooktop. The pan used must have a flat bottom to contact the induction hob surface. This technology is "mature" and has been around enough years for it to be safe and to have dropped in cost. This appliance is seen with the well written instruction booklet in Picture 1; P. 2 the specs, P.3 the automatic cooling fans equipped base; P.4 the clear dual touch control panel, P. 5 in use rapidly boiling water in an induction safe pan. The LED display did not show up well in the picture but is bright and well illuminated.I tested this with an induction safe tri-ply construction frying pan on 212 Degrees F setting (there are 10 temp settings to pick from or Wattage settings) and was amazed how rapidly this induction cooker got the water boiling. It was just about as fast as my gas range! The plus is no heat rising at the pan edges where I might rest a nylon spatula for example. The downside is I should not put a magnetic metal spoon/spatula etc. in the pan during operation as it would get hot; I can still stir the food but should never place a metal object on the induction hob as it will heat. Another No No is aluminum foil on the hob. So with the right pan and tools this is great. No gas fumes or exhaust of burned gas CO2 by range hood needed. Perfect for use in an apartment or home with the limitations mentioned.I liked this induction hob quite well. It is powerful and has many safety features built in. The controls can be "child proofed" and locked by simultaneously pressing "+ & -" to lock. I loved that safety feature! It will switch off or to standby if no pan is present; it will self cool with the automatic fans that turn on/off. It can turn off if I set it to a timed cooking mode. I can set the temp to cook at or select one of the 8 power levels available for each side. The LED display is large and easy to understand as are the buttons. This is quite the appliance with advanced features for less than the cost of one fancy high end pan! This is smooth surfaced tempered glass so easy to clean with a wipe. No abrasive scrubber or scouring powder should be used or necessary. This does have limitations, it is very important to read and understand the instructions.I Highly Recommend this Navaris Double Induction Cooktop - Portable Dual Countertop Electric Stove Burner Cook-Top Hot Plate with 2 Hobs for Cooking - 24 x 14 x 3 Inches. It is a modern well made modern appliance with excellent value and features.I hope you’ve found the information and my review helpful.

Nicely designed and works well
I’m using this in a cottage as a replacement for an old propane stove top and I like it a lot. Very nice and clean design. Works well with cast iron (and any other pot with a bottom that responds to a magnet). Heats quickly and it cooks much more like a gas stove top than a standard electric top. Heat adjusts quickly to changes in power. Way superior to cheaper standard electric two burner cook tops. The only problem I had with this unit was learning how to turn it on the first time; it’s not intuitive and I needed to use the enclosed instruction manual. I’m so impressed with induction cooking that I think I’ll buy an induction range eventually.
