Ultra-Thin USB Powered Tattoo Light Box Board LED Adjustable Illumination Tracer 9x12 Inch Light Pad

Just love this light. If you are into any kind of crafting with paper....drawing....etc...this light will help you.I make cards and this light is soooo helpful. Works great when using parchment paper. Wish I had bought this years ago because it helps so much with accuracy....and helps prevent eyestrain!This light is so light-weight it's unbelievable. Very easy to use and to move around.The cord is a bit short so I have to use it with an extension cord but that is not a problem.It comes packaged very well....has styrofoam corners for protection in shipping. I saved all of those corners and use them stacked 2 high on the top corners so it gives the light a little tilt up. The one on the left I cut a little slit in it so it will go over the power cord. This actually helps in a couple of ways....the cord seems to be a little loose and the styrofoam seems to hold it in....plus the power button is highly sensitive to even the lightest touch so having it covered with the styrofoam prevents accidentally touching the power tab.I also use this for Diamond Dot Painting....this is the perfect tool for that particular craft. I just purchased one to use in my Copperplate class and love its thinness, light weight, and price. I have 2 big more pricey light boxes and prefer this. I wish it had feet you could pull out to tilt it, which is better to use at an angle, for calligraphy.. I like the uniformity of the light and the fact you can dim or brighten it. Since there is no place to plug it into the wall, I use my i phone auxiliary power to run it off of in class. I had never thought of using this until I saw another student using it to power her lightbox with a power charger for tablet or phone..

I do love this light pad, and it is reasonably priced. Only 4 stars as it takes awhile to warm up and will flicker until it does, and also does so sporadically. I use it for tracing occasionally, but mostly for weeding cut vinyl. I haven't used other light pads to know if this issue is common or not, but would still rate it similarly, and it is an inconvenience. It is nice and bright without blinding. Also, it could have a longer cord.

I don't know if it's just mine, but I am finding that at any brightness other than the brightest setting, the pad flickers non-stop. It's kinda hard to adjust to begin with, but I don't really see myself using the other settings of brightness, so i'm not really bothered to return/exchange. Otherwise i'm happy - the price is great, it's a simple and solid pad, great size, very unobtrusive.

I used it straight out of the box. When I turned it on, the led jittered a lot no matter what brightness i set it to. I would compare the jittering to when a flourescent light is starting to turn on and flashes a bit, except in this case it never fully turns on. At a lower brightness, the flashing was even more apparent. This product is unusable, it would strain my eyes to stare at it. Will return.

I am a handletterer/calligrapher and desperately needed a light box when fine tuning sketches and such. I purchased this on a whim since there weren't many reviews on it when I got it, but I have to say I am pleasantly surprised! For the price, this product is wonderful and does exactly what I need it to do! I've had it for 3-4 months now and haven't had any issues with it! I love that if I go to a coffee shop to work and don't have a plug near me, I can plug it into my laptop and use it with no issues. Definitely recommend!

My unit is flickering and it’s really annoying!

I was thrilled with my purchase of this light board!! Even better than expected. I found a feature I guess I over looked, but it slowly dims or brightens as you hold the button. It doesn't have presets, you have freedom to use proper brightness for your needs. The board was carefully packaged. ITS AWESOME
