Over a 1000 pieces for 30 something dollars, great!It has a nice box. 15 numbered bags of pieces. All pieces were there, with some spares, pictured. With a regular Lego guy to show scale.Instructions were 98% excellent. Very good. If you are a experienced "lego-alternative" builder, you will love this and waltz through it, no problems.I probably would not give it to a non-experienced or younger person, the 12-16 range, is possibly accurate, if they are good at that sort of thing already! Otherwise be prepared to lend a hand :)A great deal, a good 5 to 6 hrs of reasonably priced relaxation. :)

I absolutely loved this set. the only thing critic i would have would be thinner and more sting to make the rigging. But otherwise brilliant.

I love the look of the finished build. Worthwhile doing.However be aware that there are some problems with the instructions, although they are generally very good. Look at pg. 40 then at page 46 These are the same builds only on opposite sides of the boat. The construction on pg. 46 is the correct way to do it. On pg. 66 is the construction of the first mast, that first piece should only go half way so that it can be connected to the main body. Some of the pieces do not latch, some are really tough to fit, but most work very well. Some frustrations here, but at the end you have a beautiful ship. The price is right as well

My kid received this from my friend as a Christmas gift. We spent 3 days to finish it. Super good quality, very authentic, and no missing pieces at all! A 1000+ pics Lego at $40 is really a bargain. We can’t wait shopping for other products from this brand.

This is my first brick build, I'm 74 years old, I have built many Revelle models and enjoyed each, my grandson is a Lego fanatic so I thought I would try one. I ordered this kit and when I received it was very disappointed. I started putting it together to find there were many missing pieces almost like it was a parts box, thus the 4 star rating. I sent it back to back to Amazon for a replacement. I received the new ship the following day. Started putting it together and to make a long story short, all pieces were there and I had a great time with this build. It was a bit challenging for my first brick build but enjoyed putting it together, I would highly recommend this kit,
