Does this bag ship folded or flat in a larger box?

Came in a bag, folded in thirds.

if you only carry one rifle in this will it be too floppy or loose?

Once the bag is zipped up it isn’t floppy. However, the straps do not hold a rifle tight so it will move around if the bag is not secured.

Ive got a 32" ar15 and a 41" mossberg 590 retrograde. Do I have to ge the 48?

My guess is you’ll need at least the 42” so that the Mossberg fits at a slight diagonal inside the case but without doubt the 48” will accommodate them.

Does this 36" case actually hold a 36" rifle ?? I don't think so ???

In the product description (not the pictures) there is a chart '32 inch holds up to 30 inch", etc. I would adjust my stock to fit snugly in the opposite corners which would accommodate a 32"+ firearm without a doubt.
