This is a great hat - it’s light, comfortable, cool, and protects against the sun. I have a VERY large head (normally a 7 3/4) so many hats do not fit well. I ordered an XL and fits just fine. I bought it for a trip to Hawaii and wore it every day. It protects from the sun and it breathes well and is cool. I get a lot of compliments on it as well.

I looked at other hats, principally for golf and just everyday outdoor. A friend has an expensive Tilly hat but I tend to sweat a lot in the sun and the Tilly only had one narrow strip of mesh around the top. This hat is far less expensive, the whole crown of the hat is mesh so it lets in plenty of airflow, and I played golf wearing it yesterday in 90 degree heat and it helped tremendously. The shape holds up pretty well also. My one complaint is a shipping complaint. The hat comes in a box that is too small for the brim to lay flat so when it arrived, it was pretty crumpled. I laid it out flat and most of the wrinkles in the brim seem to be coming out.

I own many Stetsons and Panama hats that cost north of $150. Needless to say I do not want to perspire when wearing them. This hat is very comfortable and fits great. I love the color and the look. The mesh keeps my bald head protected and cool. I will eventually ruin it with my excessive perspiration to the point I won't wear it in public. The price is very reasonable for the quality. I will buy another when the time arises.

A awesome hat to keep cool and protect the soon to be desert on top of my head. Wore a similar hat while vacationing in Southeast Asia during the dry season and it kept me cool for half a day, then loaded it up with water again. Makes a Hugh difference dealing with the heat!

This hat fit perfectly and works and looks good on me (according to my wife). Great ventilation in the 100 degree heat here in the south. The only complaint I have - the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the way it was shipped - it was in a plastic bag placed in a bigger box with another item from amazon and got a little squished. It had a cardboard insert that saved the hat from getting too smashed up {but the cardboard had fallen out a bit as well). I was able to smooth most of the creases out. If you order one of these order it separate from other items and maybe they will ship it in a box by itself.

I like the style and flare. It grips very comfortably with a solid grip in the wind.I was particularly pleased to receive a separate email from the producer of the hat (clearly foreign) that explained the care of the hat and assurance of support if needed.
