Quick, Clear, and Easy to Use
I love these little strips, especially when Iām just checking in on the tank and want a quick snapshot of whatās going on. Theyāre super easy to use and give results fast. Theyāve already caught two nitrite spikes for me, and the color clarity made it easy to tell right away. Great tool to keep on hand for regular monitoring.

Considering how easy it isā¦
Considering that it is quick, easy, inexpensive and straightforward and gives one a pretty good rough estimate on the complexities of my water - I think therefore that it is worthy of a five star rating.

Great product, easy to use
Great product and easy to use. We have a Beta fish for our son and it is in a fresh water tank. It's nice to have the dual tables for both fresh and salt water. Although we only use the fresh water side, it still is easy to use and easy to read. It helps make it a lot easier to know how we need to adjust the water when after testing.

Some quirks but I think it will work .. not sure yet
These arrived the same morning a fish died so I was eager to use it.. unfortunately I was late for work so quickly dipped the strip and took it with me.. Found out Its hard to do the color compare and drive at the same time :) The colors do seem a little bit darker now that it's dried and I later read that I only get 30 seconds to assess and record any problems.. That 30 seconds seems really short. I wish they had a second chart that would work but only for use after the strip is dry. The other hassle I had was in getting the cover pulled back from the bottle without ripping it.. it's stuck on really tight and hard to peel back the chart with your thumbnail alone.. By the way the SmartPhone App makes you wait 60 seconds before you can take a photo of the strip and then doesn't let you save it or any notes on the image, it should let you take the strip photo and save it and the results diagnosis at the same time.. More later once I learn to use it properly... Ok so Iāve used 4 strips and have tried to do an accurate compare between manually reading the chart alongside the strip and using the app on an iPhone 7 and Iām not sure yet which is more accurate since a different anomalies were flagged with both techniques. Not sure yet which is more accurate and since Iāve changed 1/3 the water with pre-treated fresh Water I need more samples.. I am sure that SanDiegoCA Tap Water has high PH above 8.2 in my case yet one day it read high and today (the next day) the same Water read Ok. I wish I was more confident Iām reading it correctly but 30 seconds after a 30 second wait makes it hard to use the App on the same sample which wonāt allow you to start it till the strip has been wet for 60 seconds ... with the rapid drift in color itās a moving target and not as repeatable or consistent as Iād hoped this would be but certainly worth doing since these fish are so expensive itās worth the investment. Iām using Seachem Prime and a bacteria Stability products and just ordered something to lower the PH.. here are some photos I wish this were a 50gal tank since I think a 20 gal like mine is much harder to manage. I've lost two GolFish Tetras in three weeks and believe the strips will really help now that I have them but may need to invest in a liquid chemical mix kit too since these results are a little iffy and harder to decode under various lighting conditions and time delays after dipping them. This chlorine danger flagged seems bogus (for example ) cause the strip looks fine and the same pre-treated new water was fine in less than a day Btw the strip on the front right was unused and right out of the bottle with a 2019 Exp date.the 2nd 3rd strips are based on the same sample with a 60 sec offset delay. I'm not a fish breed but can't stand to see my fish die..

Tests 6 parameters and works well enough
I keep neocaridina shrimp and water parameters are everything with these little guys. These strips make it dead easy. Dip, wait a minute, and you have readings for nitrate, nitrite, pH, hardness, chlorine, and alkalinity. Accurate enough for routine monitoring and the 100-count bottle lasts forever. Only downside is they're not quite as precise as a liquid test kit, but for day-to-day use I don't need that level of detail. Genuinely one of the better purchases I've made for my tank.

Great Use Test Strips for Aquarium
Readability is good; ammonia levels to test. Durability and quantity is great. Perfect to test your water.

Fast & accurate testing!
I always read people saying these arenāt accurate.. for me they always line up with exactly what my master kit says. I test with these once a month then every 6 months double check my parameters with the API master kit. If something looks off with the strip test, Iāll verify with the master kit but really have never had the strips be wrong. They seem very accurate & convenient to me, as long as my Angels donāt peck at it when I put it in the tank š

Accurancy Questionable
Accuracy is questionable compared to using API liquid water testing.

Best test strips I've ever used, not as accurate as a liquid test, but good enough to get an idea of water quality, I have multiple aquariums and liquid test could take me a day to complete, with these its about an hour and if anything looks high or low then do a full liquid test.. saves time and money. the phone app is easy to use.. only downside is the 100 packs are only available outside UK. only 10s and 25s in UK but mine came from USA quicker than expected, so really no downsides.

Fast postage, easy to use, takes 30 seconds, for hobby purposes it seems accurate enough and to that degree, I can tell the difference between the different shades of colours. I can confirm it gives different readings for tap, reverse osmosis, fresh, salt, my home tanks and store water. Apparently the individual test are more accurate, but take a lot longer to use (i.e. 3 mins for 6 different tests). Happy with purchase (especially as it was discounted when I purchased).

I bought these as a quick test. They seem to be very accurate for nitrates/nitrites and Ph. I also have the old fashion test kits. They seem to match up. Except, for GH and KH. I always get zero readings from the strips, but not from the old fashioned liquid test.
