Slightly misleading photo of the fan they show on the website, there is a difference. This one works great, I have another slightly smaller one also from same manufacturer. Easy to use straight from the box, and relatively quiet too.

No larger than it needs to be with A full tilt on all angles (up and down). With GOOD hinges that keep it at any angle. Only had it for 1 day so hopefully they stay that way but it seems like a good fan for the price. Fairly good wind power for its size too

Works well for what you would expect a small USB powered fan to do with three speeds. Only downside is it is a bit noisy for the office desk when on calls!

Such a neat little package that delivers quite alot of effect. Easy to store due to size but on a hot night keeps a room at a pleasant temperature. The 3 speed settings are good but I found just leaving it on the lowest was so quiet I hardly noticed it was there.

I love this brand SmartDevil. I've had a few of these fans and they never fail to disappoint. I bought the smaller one a few years ago and it's been fine and a good product. I decided this summer to get a better one slightly larger than the smaller one that was released about two years ago. I can't say anything bad about it. It does exactly what it says. Blows out very large volume of air for the size, I'm often at my desk doing work and I don't know how I could do without it. It's virtually noiseless well worth the money just get one you won't be unhappy with it. SmartDevil is a really top quality brand.

I spent considerable time reading many reviews for lightweight USB-powered fans as the previous fans I had bought were noisy and unreliable (e.g. the fan stopped when tilted upwards). On the basis of reported experiences, I felt that this fan would be better than my previous ones where the metal cages vibrated constantly. Unfortunately, after only a few hours use this fan has become noisier. It is the plastic cage vibrating this time, which is not a pleasant or relaxing sound. Also the motor bearing is far from silent and creates a whistling sound. I have placed the fan on a sound insulating pad/cloth to ensure there is no vibration going to the surface but this does not reduce the noise level which is clearly generated inside the fan.There are four speeds rather than the three I expected. The fourth is a variable speed setting that hunts up and down constantly, which adds to the general sense of stress that this fan creates when I turn it on - I avoid that setting altogether.It was not an inexpensive fan as there are many similar fans for little more than half the price. My disappointment is, therefore, proportionately higher. I am not particularly sensitive to noise but my PCs, laptops, fridge-freezer etc. are all quieter than this fan even on its lowest setting.The best feature is the USB-C socket which allows me to connect lengthy leads to the fan. This should prevent the problem I have experienced with previous fans with the cable wearing where it joins the bosdy of the fan and the connection failing after some time.

I bought this a year and a half ago and have used it countless times. It’s amazing coupled with a decent power bank and got us through the sweltering heat of a heatwave on holiday last year. For such a small fan it’s extremely powerful. It’s been invaluable in hospital when they do not provide large fans anymore due to cross contamination so this fan and a power bank are lifesavers. I definitely recommend getting one and have several times especially in hospital.

It fans air and (at least on the lowest setting) it’s pretty quiet. If you have it pointed towards your chest rather than your face, it doesn’t generate any background noise when you’re on an online call. That’s pretty much all you need for a desk fan IMHO

I sleep hot and need air flow on my face to be comfortable. This mighty fan has been to Tokyo, Kyoto, Yellowstone, Sedona, Zion national park and kept me very comfortable. It is quiet, can hang anywhere and has 3 speeds plus off, but does use a usb plug. Good buy!

I love this fan. It's tiny but very powerful and decently quiet. I like fans all over my apt because the air circulation is pretty pathetic and this is great at keeping me cool by my computer. It has a great pivot range as well. My only caveat is that when I get another it needs to have a rechargeable battery so I can use it everywhere. Highly recommend if you have USB access.

I did hours and hours of research comparing different fans, watching YouTube videos, etc. and this fan seemed like it would be the perfect option for a USB-powered, portable desk fan. I was only dissuaded by the mixed reviews but decided to take a chance and order one.I was really impressed. I've had several of these portable fans and this one is my favorite by far. Love the design, ease of use, it's the perfect size for a desk fan but also one you could take with you on the go for camping and stuff like that.The noise profile of the blades isn't bad at all. On the lowest setting it puts out a nice breeze situated on your desk and is slightly audible. The two more powerful settings are louder and produce a pretty substantial breeze.The only negative I've noticed is this fan doesn't like to be used upside-down. Must be something with the bearing or mount design but it makes a slight grinding noise. Not terrible. If you have the fan at full blast upside down the grinding noise disappears presumably since the force generated by the blades pushes the bearing/mount into the proper place.Would highly recommend this fan for a desk fan/portable fan!
