I was excited to get them today. While I watched football and watch the Panthers lose another game. I put the sandals together. I really had to guess at how to put the straps on since there was no clear instructions. I finally got the idea of how to put them on after I used them for a trail run.At the end of 30 minutes I had a spike on each of the sandals bent at about a 30 degree angle. There is really no way to take that spike off now either. Since the nut will not be able to loosen with the spike bent at the threads. I will have to try a hacksaw.Really don't know how effective these would be in the long run. They tore up some areas of the grass, making it look like a golfer had comethrough and made numerous divots.I have used them about 5 times and they stay on better, one of them keeps loosen up and comes off after 5 or 10 minutes.

These aerating sandals do exactly what they are supposed to. Even with large feet like me (size 15) they fit and work well. I use them whenever I am mowing or seeding/fertilizing my yard. I do recommend cutting the straps down once you have them on so that they do not get caught underneath while you are using them.

To be honest, I have not tried them yet but....when you compare to all the others they all look the same. These come with the washers and the straps seem high quality not plastic and seems like a really strong hold. I certainly don't think these would be as stable or work as well as shoes made specifically in your size for the task but that's impractical. For the price compared to all the others you see on amazon this company is a no brainer. I would not hesitate to purchase another pair should I need them.

The product is made of good quality (except the spanner which bends easily) and the design appears to be good.It took a while to assemble but it was simple. INSTRUCTIONS ARE ON THE BOX.Note that if the soil is very compacted, you might need to get the aerator machine.In the really hard portions of my lawn, I was unable to get the spikes into the soil and my ankle twisted a few times . So I probably will have to get the aerator in the spring. I don't think you will be able to walk fast with this while mowing.

Did not work well for me. No matter how tight I cinched the straps to my shoes, they still would try to pop off or they would become so skewed to the side, they became a tripping hazard. Don't buy.

Exactly as pictured. Came in quickly and packaged well. It would require a lot of trips through the lawn to actually aerate as I was hoping. I watered well before starting and that helped. Spikes are the length advertised but felt like they needed to be even longer or thicker to do any good.

Definitely aerates your yard. Sandals are easy to assemble and easy to use. Was able to get them assembled and begin using them in about 15 minutes. Straps stay snug during use, but come off quickly when you're finished.

My wife loved these. Worked exactly as hoped. Only thing to watch out for is extremely wet soil will stick to the bottom making it more difficult to aerate, and walk for that matter. The product is great though. Especially for the reasonable price.
