I would recommend installing these as a 2-man job to make things go by faster, especially if you have a double window where you're having to install a 7 foot long piece. There's no way I could have done that one by myself without breaking something.For the money, these are 5-star products in their category level of plastic/faux wood. Don't be too forceful with the pieces. Follow the instructions.I have these in front of my blackout curtains and all I can say is sleeeeeeeeep... They're also white, so I am looking forward to keeping the heat out during our Texas summers.

Easy to install and look great!

Overall the product is nice and looks great in our room. Like other reviews, there’s definitely pros and cons. The biggest cons:-these were so challenging to hang. They were 44inches wide and even with 2 of us it was very difficult. The concept was not hard but the execution was. We had the hardest time getting the blinds to snap into the hardware-the blinds were COVERED in a white plastic powder and bits of plastic. The box was filled was covered as well leaving a mess all over our living room.-the directions were not very clear on setting up the wand. For awhile we thought it was broken. It wasn’t until after about 15 minutes of playing with it we heard the device click and then worked. For the other blinds we had manually click on that part before the wand would work.Overall these look great and were a good price for custom blinds. Now that we’re done installing them we’ll buy them again for other rooms but beware for larger blinds the installation can be a nightmare.

EASY TO INSTALL

This is exactly what I was looking for. Easy install and clean looking. I will be ordering more. I did use my own screws. Read ALL the directions first.

I love the lumino blinds. I like the variety of sizes. It was very easy to install and it works well with our needs. I also like that they cordless. I would be cautious of putting the brackets on top of the cord area because it can cause issues in turning the blinds. Once the brackets are in, we were able to adjust the blind to center of window. We asked for replacement because we had issues in turning the blinds. They sent replacements with no questions asked. Great customer service! And that’s always appreciated!

Pros:- Excellent fit, you provide the dimensions of your opening, and they cut them to the exact size needed- Like the cordless design, especially being able to raise and lower the blind without pulling on cords - see comment in the con's below about the wand- Very good light blocking- Quality seems very good- Good response time from their Customer ServiceCons:- These are advertised as faux wood blinds, as you can see from the pictures on Amazon there is no wood texture at all on the slats. Every other faux wood blind I've purchased actually had a wood texture.- These were very difficult to install. In fairness though, with the size of the blind it would have been better to have two people, just was not practical with where it was going. I also bought 23.5" blinds from the same supplier and they were a breeze to install. This larger one had a different kind of hanging bracket that was not easy to get hooked in place with the amount of space between the header and the blind.- Wand was too short (24") and no option to get a longer one from the Supplier. This blind is installed above our kitchen sink and is 72" long, I needed a step ladder to reach the wand to open and close the slats. Getting a longer one on-line is very expensive ($30 - 40) so I made one for under $4- see pictures in case you end up in the same situation.In summary, I wish they were easier to install and that the company offered the option of longer wands but given the quality of the product and precision fit I would buy these again.
