Emergency AC power adapter needed
I went out of town for about 2 weeks. I typically bring my playstation if I'm going to be traveling for a while. I got to my hotel, unpacked and notice I forgot the AC power adapter. I was NOT going to drive back 2 hours just to go get it. I placed the order on a Friday evening and I got it delivered to my hotel Saturday morning. It cost me about $16, which was totally worth it! I did notice that it felt a bit lighter in weight and realized that the cord was shorter than the original that came with my console, but that really wasnt an issue. Kudoes to the seller for having it readily available and to Amazon for the prompt delivery (12-14 hours from when I placed the order).

Had to throw away my old one since it was very old didn't work anymore. Just got another Power supply works good as new but that little cord that plugs in the wall is very short but i got plenty of those anyway that's longer lol but thank you!!!!👏👏👏

Wouldn't recommend
Product failed after less than 1 hour of use. Product is made of poor quality materials and in this buyers opinion is not equal replacement compared to an official Sony Playstation 2 power supply. I bought this so I wouldn't have to rummage through old boxes to find my original PS2 power supply. I used the product for 3x 15 minute game sessions. When I came back to play more my PS2 wouldn't turn on. So after finally finding the original Sony PS2 power supply, my PS2 turned back on. I was very worried that this product might have killed my cherished PS2. Thankfully that was not the case. I did a number of trouble shoots to determine if it was the outlet, the cords, the extension cable, but the only explanation is the cheap power supply failed.
