Humphrey Bogart

The pictures and story in this book are a good way to get emerged into the life of Humphrey Bogart. The pictures alone are worth the purchase!!!

I love it!

I was never a BIG fan of Humphrey Bogart, but received this book as a gift, and was so surprised to read about his history. The details are so interesting and the pictures are fabulous. I was so entertained with it, I ordered another book for a gift for a friend who is a real Bogart fan. My book came as a hard cover, but the next one came with a paper cover so was a little unhappy about that, as it was a gift. Still, the story and pictures are just as good. Humphrey Bogart: Take it and Like it...is well worth while reading.

perfect read the whole book as soon as it arrived i love jonathan coe. now i really like bogart too!

Enjoyed

If you like Bogie than this is the book for you. Great photos accompany a readable text spanning the film great's lifetime. Bogie had an aura around him and this comes out in this book in photos such as the two on pp 156-157 where the original tough guy has Bacall on one arm and Norma Jean on the other. With Bogie what you saw was what you got. If you liked what you saw then check out this book.

Got this for my younger son for Christmas. He's a big Bogart fan and this is a real nice and different look at the man and the star. I'm sure he will love it. I looked through it and enjoyed looking at the pictures of the man and the star. A different look at the great one....

This is a large paperback, not the small one you might expect. We bought this for a prop for a play. It is an interesting read and excellent selection of historic photos. A must read for the Humphrey Bogart fan!!
