I consider this the best purchase I have made for my iPad. The structure is solid, holds its form very well when tightened down, and the mount holding the iPad itself rotates/attaches/detaches easily. This mount moved my iPad from my kneeboard to the middle of the yoke. This helps with situational awareness, since you're glancing down to your screen rather than looking all the way down at your lap.I use the mount everywhere I go. I can mount it to my truck center console and have maps easily available without causing too many distractions. I use this mount when I do homework as a second screen to show an article. I can even mount this to an aircraft stand at work to study for upcoming tests without worrying about the iPad getting damaged.10/10 would buy again. Actually, I'll probably buy a couple more to become permanent mounts in my truck and computer station so I can just transfer the iPad mounts to the other arms.

The yoke clamp slips during turns with the iPad on it... Had to strap it to the yoke. Should maybe come with some sort of nonslip rubberized thing to go around the yoke or something like that. Was not a value for the cost imho.

Wasn't impressed - didn't stay put on the yoke of a 182, and could not get an ipad mini at a good viewing angle. The yoke mount slips and looks fragile. The angle of the arm would really require another elbow and shorter piece to adjust properly over or under the yoke. I found the available angles unusable, and hitting against me. This is also incredibly expensive for what you get, should be 1/3rd of the asking price and better made.

I bought this a year ago for an iPad Air (4th gen), solid quality.Since I've purchased it, I increasingly fly in aircraft where the ipad is more directly exposed to the sun. Searching for suitable cooling fans, I came across https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B099DN4HW3; after taking away alloy frame and replacing the short clamps with the longer ones, this is a great solution.

Product is excellent.. didn't work for me due to limited space in cockpit in my particular aircraft.

Do not get me wrong, This is a great mount, the adjust-ability is awesome, but the connection to the yoke could be better. Everything is machined well, but it is hard to get the mount to the yoke tight enough. The latch assembly could be replaced with a giant nut instead of a roll over lever. If I was to start over again, I would opt for the window suction mount instead.

I was nervous at first that this yoke mount with a full size IPad Air attached to it would cause the yoke to be heavy to the touch but it had no impact. Could not feel it at all in flight. What I did notice was that my IPad was in the perfect viewing position compared to my kneeboard mount. This is an outstanding high quality mount. There was no flex or movement of the IPad. I'd buy it again!

I am pleased with the product, including the quality. The cost for the yoke mount seems fair, but the cost of the universal cradle left me feeling frustrated. Great product, but pricing seems higher than what you actually get. My feeling is that they charge a high price this because they know they're selling to pilots (an expensive hobby), but I am guessing a lot of student pilots could benefit, but can't afford the luxury of this item.
