Updated Review April 2017
Update April 2017. A few months after I made the last update, the pump ceased working. Pieces of junk. I replaced it with a Little Giant VCL-24ULS and that one has been fine. July 2015. Update to original review in 2014. After using the pump for AC condensate, for three months in 2014, and about one month in 2015, the pump became intermittent. I emailed customer service a number of days ago with warranty questions but never heard back from them. Maybe the float material gets waterlogged at times, as discussed in some other reviews, or the problem is something else. Anyway, in order to simplify fixing the situation, I just bought a new pump in July of 2015 and switched the pump mechanism, leaving everything else intact. It appears that new yellow float material is different than the old material, and maybe that solved the problems? Old review from 2014. This is my second purchase of this pump. The older one still works. But since I also use it with my central AC and don't want to use the safety switch to shut off the outside condensing unit if the pumps stops working, I just replace the pump after about four years. Worthy of note is that when the highly regarded company that I use for yearly maintenance of my AC and heating equipment came for a yearly tune-up, their truck carried these pumps for anyone that needed a new condensation/central humidifier pump.

Failed in just under 3 years
Installed Diversatech CP22T bought from Amazon in October 2015, worked fine until September 2018, then unit wouldn't turn on. Being an auto mechanic and handy man, I removed reservoir, and found plastic float arm rotted off and in two, causing float switch not to work. I live in Idaho, and we have pretty good water, so I have to assume that the plastic used in pump is of poor quality, and designed to last a little longer than the 2 year warranty. I guess I expect a life span of 5 years or better. Wont buy Diversitech or Utilitech (Lowe's version of same pump) pumps again.

Dehumidifier Drain
I got this to transport the water from the dehumidifier. Right now I've got it going into a 5 gallon water jug. Sometime when I feel ambitious I am going to drill a hole through the cinderblock and brick in the crawl space and have it go directly into the garden. One of these days. But this baby works as described. It doesn't make much noise. When I go out there I never hear it working. I know it's working because that jug gets filled up every couple of days. It's a piece of cake to set up. One thing is that the hose will fit snugly into a 1/2 inch CPVC pipe without any fittings. That's good to know for when I arrange the permanent set up.

DiversiTech CP-22T Condensate Pump
This product is very simple to use and easy to install, but the water reservoir is somewhat flimsy. I had one just like the new, and after 7 years of in service, the plastic tank cracked and started to leak. But, the crack was easily fixable with epoxy. Other than this issue, the pump is still in working condition. The new replacement pump water tank is the same as old one. I wish it is little thicker and better made. However, I know it will give me another 7 years of service and more. The other best part is that It is less expensive than the other brands.

I purchased this pump in December 2016, and attached it to our High Efficiency natural gas furnace. We do not use the furnace for five months in each year. The cheap plastic reservoir/tray broke, and the pump housing will not sit properly on it. I was able to make the housing balance on the tray, and now the impeller has jammed. There is no way to access that part of the pump, so it is on its way to be recycled.I will never buy a DiversiTech product again.

Great little pump!
Three years ago, I bought a dehumidifier for the basement. At the time didn't think much of emptying the water out. In the humid times of the year the water needs to be dumped two or more times a day. Attaching a hose to the dehumidifier and dropping it into one of the four possible ports was too easy. There IS a built in check valve that stops the pumped water from returning back to the pump chamber. It runs very quick and quiet. I pump water up only eight feet but I don't doubt this will pump up to the height stated.

Tough, reliable
Purchased/installed this condensate pump in 2016, it has given 4 heating seasons of flawless service so far. At the start of each heating season, I do a PM by running a gallon of 50/50 vinegar/water thru the pump, followed by a rinse of a quart or so of fresh water, just to knock down any junk that accumulated in the previous season's running.

Undependable
This is my 3rd diversitech pump in the past 2 years. The last one worked for 9 months before it broke and flooded my basement. The float is absolute junk. It fills with water then doesn't work anymore. I contacted support but they have not responded. I'll be looking for another high temp pump. I do not recommend.
