POWERTEC 45004 5 Inch 8 Hole Hook and Loop Sanding Discs, 40 Grit, 25PK, Sandpaper for Random Orbital Sanders

I bought these to sand down my painted stairs when I was remodeling my basement. But the paint on the stairs was a little thicker than anticipated. These worked to get paint off in worn off areas, but where it was put on thicker it was harder. I probably needed a larger sander to accomplish the job. But, for the most part, these worked fine. It last as long as any other sanding disc depending on pressure you're applying. Adhesion was very good, almost couldn't get it off when changing pads. Great value for the money because I can use them for other projects I have coming up.

Not sure why but there's very few 40 Grit sand paper at home depot and lowes.I'm glad I find this on amazon, and it has a good price than in the store.40 Grit sand paper really makes sanding much more faster than 60 or 80.

They have done a good job for so far. We are stripping paint off a large porch that had several layers of paint prior. They work as well as the discs that we purchased at Lowe’s, and these are cheaper. The only issues we’ve had with the hook and loop is if the material on the back gets dirty. I’ll give it a thumbs up.

I was pleasantly surprised... the pack has done well... pack 25 for sub 10$ wow. And the longitivity, quality, and cut has been above expectations. 40grit helped me shave hours and hours of work.

In the middle of a deck project and I have been through every brand of sandpaper I can find....Norton, 3M, Gator,Diablo, house brand. I ordered a 40pk based on other brand longevity. I finished the project with 3 disks.....I went through at least 35 of the others for the same size area. Lasts extremely well and cuts fantastic.

This is the best sandpaper I have ever used. I had a lot of hand sanding to do on my deck. I was using a different brand that was working, but when I started using the Powertec I found myself going three times the speed.

Never came off, lasted long time. Sanded off old latex stain from my Entire house

works great.only thing I had the free Prime and as I understood I should have received it in 2-3 days and it took 20 days. I got sick of waiting and went to home hardware and bought them there.

I find these sand as well as other top name brands, but at a fraction of the cost. Worked well for me and I would not hesitate to buy again.
