This is the 4th pack of Nite Ize microlocks that I bought (black and silver). I bought this copper color version because it will look better w/ my beige bag and other bags w/ gold hardware. I like that they are lockable and not easy to open. They seemed durable as the first 3 packs I have, were bought over the years (1-2yrs).

I make wristlets and have chosen to use these instead of a split ring. These are far superior to a split ring and so much better and easier to use! The little lock is a great feature too! They also work to hold a tag on a dog collar, clip to a ring on a purse, backpack or duffle bag to hold a multitude of different things. I’ve bought many of these and have never had a problem. Highly recommended!

These work beautifully on various handbags, backpacks, slings etc... that I use either for travel or even out and about in everyday use. I can lock my zippers to each other or to an existing ring/loop, so that it is difficult for someone to pick pocket me. The first time I used them the locking mechanism is a bit tight, but you get used to it. I find these incredibly handy. As they are on the small side, it would be difficult for someone to try to unclip them while one is on the move or even standing.
