Coleman said part not available
Coleman said the part has never been available But this replacement part fits the cooler very well. I guess it payed to search the Amazon site that day. My cooler is in excellent shape for 20 years old except for this latch. Now it’s like new again

Easy to install, and a perfect fit
This is an exact replacement for the broken latch on my Coleman steel-belted cooler. It was easy to install - just remove 2 screws that hold the original latch and install the new latch with the 2 new screws that are included in the package. It fits and works perfectly.
