This product is great. The stamp is very precisely reproduced from the image I submitted. The handle is easily assembled to the stamp and is well built. It blows me away that a product like this can be made for such little money.I used the stamp on pine wood in the photos I submitted. This is the first time I used it to test it out. I heated the stamp using the exposed burner on my propane grill, because I didn't want to take the time to find my torch. It heated in a minute or less and I stamped this piece of wood at least 14 times with clear results before it got too cool to effectively mark the wood. I held it to the wood ranging from times of 1 to 3 seconds. I initially started longer and then reduced the time to see if it would still work. The burnt image varies in clarity in the photos as a result. I think the best results came after a few stamps and holding it to the wood for only about 1.5 seconds. I suspect that would vary based on wood species due to color and density differences.When I go to use this on my actual projects, I will have a piece of scrap wood of the same specie and surface finish. I will heat the stamp thoroughly and then stamp the scrap first to dial in the look, quickly moving to my actual work piece once I like where it's at. I know it will take practice, but in woodworking, nothing is perfect and this is just imperfect enough to be just what I need.With regard to size, I purchased this in the 1x1 size with a bit of apprehension, because I worried it might be too small. Comments were mixed on the issue. Some said that the 1x1 was way too small to get good results an that their images lacked clarity. Others said it was perfect. I really didn't want to order the bigger version. It wasn't the cost that was problematic, but the size would be a bit large for my projects. I included an image of my logo so you can see the level of detail that was retained in the stamp. As small as this is (US Nickel shown for size ref), I am amazed at how crisp it turned out. The image I submitted to the seller was a black and white version and if I recall correctly, I submitted it as a PDF so that the image quality would scale without losing clarity.With regard to shipping, I am sure a lot of variables exist and that everyone's situation could be different. I received mine exactly 3 weeks after I placed my order. I ordered December 5th and got it on the 26th. The estimates I received after I ordered said it could be February before I get it. I knew this was possible before ordering and I accepted that. To my surprise it was very fast respectively.All in all, I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and the sellers service. It was easy to purchase and submit art. The packaging was simple and effective (a poly bag with bubble wrap taped around the item. No damage. I will confidently buy again when I have the need.

When I received the brand it wasn't the design I ordered. I contacted Amy and she had my original design made and shipped out the same day. I received the remade brand yesterday and all I can say is WOW !!!!! I am very very pleased with the craftsmanship and sturdiness of this brand, OUTSTANDING PRODUCT, SERVICE, COMMUNICATION ETC. FIVE STARS ALL DAY LONG !*!*!*!*!*! ( I'd give more stars if I could )

My expectations for this were low. REALLY low. The small details in my design, coupled with the close proximity of lettering, made me think everything was just going to come out a burnt black blur every time it gets used. HOWEVER, after tuning the temperature, I had my method down in about 15 minutes with the results improving each time. The brand itself is a good quality heavy gauge that I expect will last a very long time. The way the handle connects to the brand is my only complaint, as it is a touch flimsy and WILL come loose, which has the potential to be problematic considering you are working with a red hot brand. But it's not a big problem considering it is nothing a little spot weld can't permanently fix. There's nothing wrong with this brand. Any comments talking about poor quality or bad results seem to fall squarely on the shoulders of operator error, in my opinion. Once you get the heat correct and the length of time the brand needs to be applied, you'll get good results. 4 stars only because of the way the handle connects to the branding plate. This was a great buy and I will be coming back for others in the future.P.S. - The attached picture was my first burn with it. They only got better from there.

This iron works well. Just need to experiment a bit on some scrap material in order to get the feel for how much you need to heat it before branding. A few minutes with a propane torch and you’re good to go. The burned impression is crisp and well defined. On some types of wood it will create a halo effect due to the amount of natural oils in the wood. That’s why it is important to make a few trial burns.

I have frequently thought about how nice it would be to leave my mark on the wood projects I turn out in my shop. Sort of a vanity thing but I figured that if people liked what I'd done for family and friends they might want to reach out for something they would like.I saw it as something nice to have but not needed. After last year when I made some cutting boards for my sister and mother-in-law, I decided for this years gifts, I wanted to be more professional looking. They all had gotten a lot of compliments and interest from people, in fact, my sister's girlfriend stole her board and she needs a new one.I'm thrilled with the clariety of the design. It comes in a cute basic wooden box which of course, other than some scrap was the first thing I used this on. It needs to be REALLY heated on all parts before burning. Also, it really needs to sit for a good 30 seconds to ensure anything in the middle comes out clearly but once I got the timing down, it was perfect! This years gifts will be that much nicer and I'm happy to use to to show how far I've come in my skills since I started a few years ago.

This is excellent but I’ve got both 1” and 2” . The 2”” is the only way to go

Great product and delivery was quick considering it was all custom. Product came better than expected and works great would definitely recommend.

Just need to heat it for a couple of minutes with a propane torch and there you go, you can brand your creations or property. Leterring very neat, came like I ordered...name and font.

When I received the product (I ordered the 1.5 x1.5) it looked like it was way to small to work properly and show up the image. I was totally wrong. The image transferred wonderfully! In fact perfectly! Just make sure you heat up the brass more than you think you will need too , then apply with a little pressure and you will be very happy with the results! The image is exactly as you see in the pictures. When you order you just contact Amy and give them the information you want put on the unit. They will send you an e- mail to confirm those details. Also I received the order in a timely fashion. Great product that is good quality and works very well. Fantastic really.
