I would say this speaker sounds best in the frequencies between 100hz to 4000 hertz. Anything above 4000 hertz doesn’t sound too clear to my ears. Specifically, the frequencies in the 10,000 hertz zone sounds very muffled and like it is completely missing. If you have some good tweeters then they will definitely bring out the clarity that this midrange speaker lacks. The tweeters in this speaker just doesn’t have the crystal clear sound to it. This speaker by themselves is mediocre because of this so you will need some real tweeters to add to making it sound it’s best.The description says it goes up to 22,000hz but is misleading and will disappoint you if you were expecting clear highs from this speaker. I guess it is described as a midrange speaker for a reason.
