I wish I knew about this razor sooner!It has a slight weight when holding it but definitely preferred. No accidental slipping or cuts from it being too light.I love the style I bough with the bamboo effect.Comes with replacement blades and it’s super easy to change the blade.It leaves your skin silky soft! No strawberry shaving effect or any stubble at all!I would make one suggestion… definitely buy one of the blade disposal containers/box for the used blades as they are very sharp and placing in a normal bin would make me feel uneasy.I bout a simple blade disposing container.Small compact pot with a small opening just big enough for the blades to slip in and your worries are over.Amazing price and for replacement blades even better!! No more £20 for 3 replacement razors!You can literally buy a box of 100 blades for less than £10!The savings throughout are unreal!Absolutely recommend if you have dark, coarse hair that grows rapidly and despite shaving with normalRazor always leaves slight stubble, razor rash or even the strawberry effect.You get none of those issues and I’ve never felt my skin like silk after shaving!Highly recommend!

As this was my first safety razor after years of using disposable cartridge razors, I was not sure how I would get on with this. I liked the idea of reducing my use of plastic parts, but was a little nervous about using a safety razor. There is definitely an art to using this type of razor and my first attempt at using it left me with a few little cuts. After watching a few YouTube videos, I gradually get the hang of using this product. The product is well made, looks nice and I really like it. Not sure that the supplied pack of blades is great and hence I would recommend buying a decent brand of blades. Finding the right blades for you is evidently part of the adventure and I have only tried a couple so far with one or two others that I hope to try soon. One thing I really like about using a safety razor compared to the old disposable cartridges is that the safety razor does not clog up even when shaving several days of stubble.

Only just started using but nice weight and well balanced - bamboo handle easy to grip - most importantly gave a nice smooth shave using one of the Bambaw blades supplied with the razor - early impressions very positive - hopefully it will prove mor robust than my last metal razor (different make) which broke after a couple of months

I always struggled with shaving rash, I don't write reviews normally but this shocked me. First time was better than normal but still took my skin a little getting used to. But now...nothing but smooth skin! It is also a closer shave and the hairs don't grow back as quick :)

This razor is honestly so good for anyone whether you are new to double edge razors or a seasoned pro, works so well for my sensitive skin and at this price point is very hard to beat, highly recommend

I bought this safety razor as I wanted an alternative to the hideous plastic disposable razors that were scattered around our bathroom at various stages of life. It arrived, it looked beautiful and it felt great to hold. There was no plastic packaging in sight. Amazing! Then I left it sitting in the bathroom for a while, admiring it but waiting until I'd used up all of the disposable razors (also if I'm honest until I plucked up the courage to try it on my armpits and legs for fear of losing a limb to the sharp blades!) I needn't have worried though. It's so easy to use, not a cut in sight and it actually feels really nice to hold and use too. Just hold at roughly a 45 degree angle, let the weight of the razor do the work and within minutes you'll have the closest and smoothest shave you've probably ever had. No soreness, no razor rash, no cuts, no having to go over the same area multiple times.I honestly can't rate this razor highly enough. It comes with a nice shaving bar (that I haven't actually had to use yet), a nice sharp blade to get you going straight away (I've shaved my legs and armpits several times already and haven't needed to put a new blade in yet), it looks good, feels great, gives you a super smooth shave, has no plastic in sight (not even the packaging) and you can buy additional blades for mere pennies.If you're considering the switch to a safety razor then this is the one for you!

Best purchase ever! This razor/blade is INCREDIBLY sharp, so the first time you need to go very slowly and keep the correct angle (it's not like those disposable Gillette blades). It gives an incredible shave. I was skeptical about shaving because I have been either waxing or epilating since I was a teenager, but I just tired of having to buy the waxing strips all the time, and my epilator just gives me a lot of ingrown hair/strawberry legs. Not very nice to look at. I only shave when my legs are on show (which, if you live in cold UK, is not very often) so this works perfectly. I was expecting to see regrowth the day after I shaved, but that didn't happen until 3 or 4 days after! Very pleasantly surprised. And no ingrown hair, because the blade is incredibly sharp (not like those plastic Gillette razors). Buying a pack of 100 blades is also cheap enough, and being steel you can recycle them! (Unlike disposable razors). The razor itself will last me my whole life, but should I ever want to dispose of it, you can also recycle it. Great for the planet, great for your skin. Just be careful the first time you shave as you will not be used to how sharp it is.
