It is perfect for my new bath renovation. It fit around a corner and against a wall near the shower. It took the place of two regular towel bars and is much stronger. I can hang a beautiful picture above it as it is placed near the bottom half of the wall. Brilliant product and it was anchored extra well in the stud, just to be sure.

The house was built with one 24" towel rod in the master bath, in a very awkward location, with no better place available. I've always thought some type of swing-arm solution would be the ticket, but never could find one in a suitable finish or length until now. The KES 19.5" 4-bar rack in chrome gets the job done. By mounting it right on the edge of an outside drywall corner, the base bracket protects the corner from dings by the bars. It also ensures mounting on a stud. Now we can get 4 folded towels and/or open bath cloths within easy reach of both the shower and tub, and have ample space to let each one dry out without being in contact with the others. One odd thing in the instructions is that it's rated at 11 pounds max capacity both when mounted in drywall or a stud. Either that's a typo, or it speaks to the capacity of the device itself regardless of mounting type. I think this will be fine in my case, but keep in mind that one large "resort size" towel can weight 5 pounds when very wet, so just a couple of these would put the unit at capacity. On the other hand, a dry towel weighs just 2 pounds or less.

Well made and looks great

What's good about this product is that it is very sturdy and solid and can handle some weight. Another plus for this product is that it differs from other towel racks in that you can mount it soley into a stud, rather than one stud and then drywall, or drywall altogether. I bought this rack specifically for this reason because, the other racks I had kept ripping out of the wall if you put any kind of weight on them. Why is it that the standard width for most towel racks are 18" to 24", when distance between studs is 16 1/4 inches? Anyway.....The drawback is that your towels will be right up against the wall unless you swivel them out at an angle which, to me, is odd visually. I had to make a wooden spacer to mount it so I could hang towels parallel to the wall without the towels touching the wall. It was a simple fix because I have tools but, I don't recommend this rack if you're not a handy person or don't know anyone who is. Otherwise, I'm very happy with this product and would buy it again. I recommend to the manufacturer that they include a 5/8" mounting spacer and appropriately longer mounting screws to make this product more consumer frindly.

Installed well and working great. We like how we can pull them out to reach and push back in out of the way.

I love how it holds four towels and can be maneuvered to either direction to separate and ventilate to dry overnight now that the weather has cooled down overnight. It holds large bath towels neatly and not fall off. It was so good that I purchased a second one for guest bathroom. It hides towel hanging on shower door which I disliked. It is very esthetic and good looking. The quality of metal is very nice and does not leave fingerprints even though I touch with bare hands. Installation was very simple. However, I recommend using durable wall studs to support better in case of using hotel style luxury bath towels for better support. It was definitely worth the price for longevity.

Der Halter ist klasse; schwer und massiv gebaut, da wackelt und verbiegt sich nichts. Ich denke, richtig und fest angebaut kann er lange Jahre seinen Job machen. Besteigungsmaterial und schöne Abdeckkappen für die Schrauben sind mit dabei - perfekt. Was ich bislang im Baumarkt fürs gleiche Geld gesehen habe, war klapprig und wirkte auch billig. Fazit: würde ich für meinen Zweck sofort wieder kaufen.
