Once carefully seasoned (don't skip this) this wok works very well. Sturdy and the heat distribution is great. If you have a high intensity gas burner this will up the game for you. I made drunken noodles and beef basil that even my family thought was as good as it gets (they are skeptics in general).It is on the heavier side - but it is the right size, gauge, and material so you can't get away from that. It's not too heavy - It's just not aluminum. Handle fits in solid and the spatula it comes with is good as well.

This wok set is ok value but could be better. The handle and attachment are sturdy and it feels like it will last many years but the finish was poor out of the box. The entire edge of the wok and the spatula were very sharp as if they had not been deburred at the factory. Definitely sharp enough to cut your finger. With 15-20 minutes with some sand paper and emery I was able to produce a soft chamfered edge. Although easy to do, this might put some users off.The wok took seasoning very well and I am now well on my way to wok hei!

Arrived much faster than expected, following instructions were simple and the result far exceeded my expectations. I have bought myself a wok for life! A happy purchase.
