I decided to go back to electric, hoping it would be more convenient. Well, it is. It works well. It holds a standby charge for a long time and has plenty of power to get my legs done. One thing I learned that probably everyone else knows- is to exfoliate your skin before using an electric razor. That helps the screen stay cleaner. Easy to clean, and has a little heft to it which makes it feel sturdy. I get smooth legs in just a few minutes.

Absolutely love it. I have tried many different brands/versions of these and by far this one is the best. It works way better and I can get my legs done quicker and they’re smoother using this one. It may cost a little more but it’s worth it in the end to have an electric razor that works great. It’s also very easy to use and easy to charge. The only thing I would say is that maybe the charge doesn’t last quite as long as I would like before needing to be charged again. I use it dry all the time and never have an issue with razor burn. Definitely worth it.

Holds a charge for several uses, maybe 20 minutes or so each, I don't really watch the clock. Charges quickly enough, easy to hold, even when wet, although soap is slippery. No skin irritation, just avoid loose skin areas, without some forethought. Wet or dry, works fine, I rinse off the foils, and wipe the cutting heads. I like this razor, and am glad I bought it, it's better than the previous one. The only issue is leg shaving to begin with, having man hair, because I am a male with male legs, I'm not so sure I am getting the smoooth skin I see on females, perhaps there is some biological issue going on, in any event I'm satisfied and don't need to look for a better one, now this razor works virtually as good as my Gillete and shaving cream, so I'm fine with it, works under arms, and other areas you might want to remove hair. The thing is time and ease of use, the quick cordless, or the traditional way.

This is the best shaver I’ve ever had! I’ve been using traditional rotary style shavers for a while and got frustrated at how hard they are to fully clean. This one is so much easier and is quicker and my skin feels smoother after use. It is on the loud side but not too bad or unexpected. I have not gotten razor burn or any cuts from it either. I don’t dread shaving as much now. Highly recommend!

Nice unit, it works. But on day two ... Be careful when removing the top of the razor for cleaning (using the slider button). There is a "tiny" metal spring (similar to those in many mechanical pens and pencils, but tiny and delicate) in the slider latching mechanism that can easily become dislodged on its own (there is no cover, rim or edge to keep it safely in place) and it's sometimes difficult to reseat. Once this spring is lost/misplaced, the razor unit may (in my opinion) become untrustworthy ... especially if the unit is cleaned more frequently due to its ability to be used as both wet/dry. This could still happen after the 2-year warrantee expires. This design detail MAY have come about the same time it was decided to have a stagnant trimmer with a less expensive clear plastic cover attachment for longer trimming, instead of the adjustable trimmer in the older models. I bought this razor unit as a replacement to similar 10+ year old Remington razor that finally died. Unfortunate.

I would highly recommend this shaver for a women. I tried many different shavers trying to find one that works like this shaver. Close shave, easy to use and easy to clean.

Terrible. Bad design and it hurts. I don’t understand why manufacturers get gimmicky with women’s products. The foil part of the razor head works ok, but not great. It tends to pull the hairs out instead of shaving them. The bigger problem is they put a thin jagged metal strip in front of the foil part of the razor that is supposed to raise the hairs to get a closer shave. I don’t know who thought this was a good idea. What it actually does is create a vibrating and jagged cutting edge. I have to be very careful with that edge so that it doesn’t touch my skin or it will cut. It makes the product unusable for me. The shape of the handle is also useless. It’s curved and feminized instead of being functional. Just make an electric razor for Pete’s sake.

At 43, I decided to take the plunge and try out an electric razor for the first time and wow, am I ever glad I did. I'm even more glad I selected the Remington Smooth & Silky Electric Shaver as my first one because it's perfect for my needs (fairly coarse dark leg hair) and it works great. I've been using a regular manual razor my whole life and this has changed my life! Holds charge well, easy to use and provides a smooth shave leaving baby skin soft leg. I'm happy!
