I purchased these surge protectors after a resent power surge in my neighborhood damaging my refrigerator. These work extremely well. At the first sign of power fluctuations the surge protector shuts off power to whatever is connected to it and resets itself when it senses that the current is back to normal. I currently use it on my refrigerator, freezer, microwave and washing machine. I love it and way cheaper than buying a new appliance.

Purchased this item at the recommendation of an appliance repair man. I never would’ve thought to use a “surge protector” for anything other than a computer. These were easy to use in terms of plugging them in. There was a delay is my appliance turning back on as the plug was testing the wall outlet. Would recommend as a CYOA measure for all large appliances.

These voltage regulators are for my family in Cuba, and they're the best for protecting against high and low voltage fluctuations.

When you first plug this in, it takes a few moments and tests the power. If the power is clean enough, it gives the green light and energizes the plugs. Protects equipment and provides info about how clean the power is, before exposing equipment. I used it in Mexico and never worried about my computer and equipment, even though power there runs a little hotter than in the US (127v instead of 120v).

These are a necessity for high voltage return to your appliances. Regulation time is 3 mins roughly but it is worth it
