Mapei Grout Refresh - 8oz. Bottle 8 oz CECOMINOD051718

We used this to cover grout on our bathroom floor tile after a water leak. The leak had left white, water mark staining on cappuccino colored grout. Despite multiple attempts and products to clean the grout, the water marks persisted. Unable to find a similar color match to the cappuccino, we choose to try to a mocha colorant and redo the entire bathroom of approximately 100sq ft. Prior to starting, we cleaned the old grout again, allowed it to dry thoroughly, and used the Mapei product with a small acid paint brush to apply it. Some areas only required a few drops to cover the grout lines and other areas required a thin line depending on the amount of white, water marks. This product is fantastic! Its coverage was great and clean up was easy. One bottle was plenty and we had approximately 1/3 of the bottle left. The finished product was amazing. We actually like the look and color better than the original grout appearance. If ever needed, we would not hesitate to use this again. Highly recommend it!

I rarely write reviews- but wanted to share how awesome this product is! I have 3 little boys who seem pee everywhere but in the toilet. I spent so much time trying to scrub and keep my grout clean around the toilet in our guest bath. No matter what- it looked gross! Always darker than the rest of the grout. I initially bought an expensive grout cleaner from Lowes and went to town cleaning it (per the Lowes workers suggestion). I then waited 48 hours to seal- but again it never seemed to dry the same color as the grout away from the toilet! I was fed up and bought the chocolate color on a whim. So easy to use! I would paint a few lines with a paint brush and rub off the excess on tile with a damp cloth. Worked like a charm!!! I am curious to see how the paint holds up on the grout- but I can tell you with how dark it now is it won't appear darker when my little Boys miss the toilet!!!

So far so good. Used it on the grout in my bathroom and it covered up the white stuff that appeared on my mocha grout. Spread the project out over 4, 5 days, in younger years could've probably finished it in a full day. But I used an artist brush and probably was more careful than needed to be. If the product got on the tile it was easy to just wipe off. Have been hand washing the floors for now but that won't last for long, ha ha. Not sure how the Wet Jet mop solution will do. Thinking should be fine. Have a lot of product left so can touch up if need be. Looks so good that I painted the baseboards to freshen up the whole look!!!!

I used some left over Mapei Keracolor mocha grout and had added a sealer to it, which caused the color to be lighter than the new Ultra Color FA that I bought. I painted the grout lines on half the room that I used the Keracolor and it matched perfectly to the new Ultra Color.
